I have 2 round oak tables I might refinish too. They are dining room tables, and I will pit them on Craig's list, bu t if I finish them up nice I might get a few extra bucks and it's great practice. If the table tops are all solid... I may tear it down amid keep it as wood stock for projects.

Ok... time for an hour nap then off to Costco, HD, post office and some place else I'm forgetting. It's raining today I'm sure so that will make sanding and maybe staining fun. The more I restore this desk the more I want to keep some of the imperfections. Like the board where the architect who owned it wore away from tapping his foot. Maybe add a brass rail over it to protect it. I'm going to use a light stain and apply it to a high grit sanding job try and make the grain pop a bit. The top of the desk is a weird material. Something so pens and pencils marked better. If I can take it off I might use that bar, pour on covering. Super thick protective coat. Not sure yet what it will look like yet.

I worked from 6:45 am to 9:35 pm today, and from 11:00 am to 2:45 am yesterday into today. And I haven't had more than some bite of leftover Chinese and some of my pickles just a moment ago.

Before he got here I found a rip on the internal bag. Since the lady on the emails was nice I mended it for them. And my stomach cramps are killing me. I' Alcoholic beverages that are darker and/or aged in wooden barrels have more congeners than unaged/transparent ones. ll buy it but then why doesn't the aged rum and bourbon I drink get me wasted fast?

If you can handle the nicotine the Cain F-1 660 is a FUCKING beast. I usually try to get 60 ring gauge. They always feel better and the flavors come out for me. And I'm a big dude. Lol big cigar. Under 50 and it can be rougher too. On some sticks. If the full ligaro is too much the Cain Daytona is my absolute favorite. If I had to have one forever it would be that. If you don't factor price.... then maybe something else... but it is hard to beat.

The flavor was really good. The smoke was strong and I want to say harsh.... but that isn't the word. Its just strong. I'm so used to really high ligaro and milder smokes. What I should have done is eat a huge mean and have it with some bourbon. It would be good with that. The sweetness on the wrapper threw me off I was thinking... oh thks will me creamy and mellow. Then BAM. I loved the flavor. I'm just a pussy I think.

I'm having some port and a cigar right now. Feeling down for the past couple weeks. Really down. I got a lot done though. First coat of stain on the cabinets and a friend helped with finishing some dry wall. It is nice to have coming together.
