Only one week gone by. I hate waiting!

It's only been a week but my scope needs to come in! I don't have rings and it might not fit on the AR but I've got a fever and the only cure is more scope. I'm horrible at waiting for stuff.

TX is very easy to own and carry just about anything. i have carried for almost 5 years now. (legally) We can get the cc here too, but silly things like buying a supressor etc. Makes no sense.

We can shoot .50 BMG at the range I go to. Funny as most of the outdoor ones don't allow that.

I like to warm up with my a few hundred .45 rounds and end with a clip dump from the AK or maybe the AR10 if I no one is in the lanes around me. Muzzle brake + 20 .308 rounds in rapid fire = lots of fire and annoyance to the people in close. That will blow paper targets 3 lanes down pretty violently.

That is really normal at some of the ranges here. The downsides are you don't have wind to correct for, and you probably can't practice shooting from prone but lots of guys show up with .22 pistols and rifles at one of the inner city locations I go to. Sit for hours trying to put lead through the same hole.

I always do everything overkill. Find exactly how much explosive it will take to destroy the target building the double it for the application. Words to live by.

A small caliber is a great trainer idea. I'm thinking of doing the same.

Add the sun and its a killer. Was 85 here today. I always get to laugh when I invite people over for a day in the sun and they are asleep by 10pm Happens to me. If I'm drinking it's even worse.
