Welcome to the IHoP
How do you age Sean? I have got great results from using a towel wrapped around a whole standing rib but it's just not the same. Even when I find some well marbled prime it doesn't work the same.

my issue is the more I pay for food the more pissed off I am that I didn't do it my damn self and do it 10x better, with some yoga that could apply to both scenarios. In this case you wouldn't have that feeling as you would have no idea how to do it, nor do it better. Something about a French Master Chef that makes his title meaningful. True, and the access to ingredients that we just cannot get. I can make a great steak, restaurant style too. However the meat and the ability to properly age is just beyond what I can get.

Basic Ski Boat would work. It does include gas though Wow. That's a good deal then. I've burned 200 bucks in gas on a boat in a few hours.

I however didn't get drunk really and I went home early.

allegedly do other things. My only rule from the wife was to not bring home anything itchy or worse, and if I had to nail one park it in the rear so i don't knock her up.

Also, every guy has a budget for the girls..... and every guy also tips above that budget. It just happens.

Welcome to the IHoP
And I figured 300 bucks a girl(3 girls) and for 9 dudes that's a really high ratio. More realistic would be 1, however 2 girls is more that 2 times as much fun in my experience.

Three nights at the place for 125 PP would only be 3375. That leaves 5625. Get the ladys to come to the place, for a few hundred a peice. Now your down to 4625. Booze and food, 2.5k should work fine. 2125. That would cover your boat, and then you could pick up women on the beach/dock and have a real good time. You would also have 1,300 to spare.(I added 225 onto the boat for gas costs.)

Ouch that's a spendy price for a rental. You looking for a fast boat not a pontoon?

Not that Texas isn't effed up. Just a different kind.

Welcome to the IHoP
I didn't know central america was a good option still. Admitedly I don't pay attention but I had the perception that it was all effed up south of Texas.

Welcome to the IHoP
Honestly, that sounds way better to me. I have never stayed in a hotel room that impressed me save one in Duluth MN. It was cheep considering it had super high celings and an in room hot tub that was huge and more square footage than most of my friends apartments. It had 16"-20" CRT tv's though, furniture from the 70's and the place was under construction so we got a SMOKING deal. $75 per night or so over the weekend. For 99% of my trips I now stay at a near by hotel what is nicely equiped, but cheep as hell. Or I stay at a hostel. Unless I travel for buisness the ONLY thing I use the room for is passing out in after I went out all night. Unless you want to party in the room go cheep IMHO.

Welcome to the IHoP
I guess do nothing. It's my relaxing spot between going out and doing things. I love the ocean. Perhaps it's not all it's cracked up to be, but the idea of those bright blue beach waters appeals to me. Classically I liked the beach in the morning or evening when I was in Miami. Either I went there to recover from the night before, or to relax before going out.

For both of you? For how long? Willing to take 7 hour flights? Yeah for both. Min a week. More would be nice, and trading fine hotel for more time may be worth it for me. Yes.

I wouldn't mind looking elsewhere but it would have to be somewhere in the states (no passports). Unfortunately he's getting married "early" since the only guy that has really started his career is our Navy buddy, so this bachelor party will be (hopefully) the cheapest one. $900 is NOT a cheap bachelor party. I've never spent anywhere near that, lol. Drinks and a few lap dances is a cheap bachelor party. My whole bachelor party was roughly 900 bucks. We had 5 guys 1 bar one nightclub and 1 naked woman place. Then back to a house to have a bash. It was absolutely awesome, and if we had a few hundred more I would guess even better as we could have stayed in a hotel downtown rather than cab. I had 3 unemployeed friends there in fact.

I like culture and beach. 3k gets close to uncomfortable. 4k is too much.

I have heard good things. I'm most likely to buy used and I haven't seen too many on the market but knowing they last helps.

For mowers, I prefer Lawn Boy, but i don't know if they are made anymore. Toro and Honda make great equipment also. Riding mowers or tractors I am a Simplicity guy. They have the best floating deck on the market IMO. Gives for the smoothest cut. Of course, this is all dependent on how much you are cutting and what you are cutting as well. I've had a Wheel Horse, Craftsman, Cub Cadet and the Simplicity and I LOVE my Simplicity. My dad just bought a Deere a couple years ago and he's been wanting to trade it in on a Simplicity ever since. Thanks for the tips. I only have a .7-.8 lot. I can't remember. I just get too lazy to push mow as it takes a few hours and in the hot sun that means a few breaks. On a rider I can bring a 6pack on ice with a big water jug and make an afternoon of it.

Not that it would be easy to find a great travel spot that cold.

Welcome to the IHoP
what time of year? Don't care at all. Lowest cost is good. I don't think I would like to travel to a place colder than MN in the winter though.

Welcome to the IHoP
Oh also do any of you guys have opinions on lawn mowers/tractors?
