R2, I’m still shopping for optics and a bolt action. I’ve basically given up on a new rifle but I can get the glass now and toss it on my AR and save for a while but still shoot and get familiar with the glass. In the 3-15x ish power is where I’m looking based on the info I could collect. I’m looking at Leo, US optics, Night force, S & B (ouch), and Premier. I would like to have FFP reticle. That would get me touching paper at ~1000y without too much trouble right? Any other suggestions anecdotal or otherwise?

Any of them use snow shoes on the FWD's?
