As long as you stick with it and set realistic goals you will be fine. I'll pass that up not problem so long as i can keep a routine. I'm at 260 for ~6 now, and that's not having lifted more than 10 times in 2 years. This time next year I should be pushing about 350 I would guess.

bench is a little sad right now too. In my prime after I hurt my knees I could do 310 for 10, but I didn't bench too much then. I'm a bigger fan of dips/weighted dips. I'm just too fat for those right now!

I haven't maxed out in years. I used to smith squat, and it bestroyed my knees by limiting motion. I could have been competetive. I was 17 doing ~720 on the smith for ~6 reps maxing at about 760. My dead lifts are horrible though. I mean horrific, just awefull. My torso is so long it stops me from being able to get my hips under my trunk properly. If I lift the bar literally 2-3" I can add over 150-175 lbs to my deadlift sets.

Hit the gym last night. My work out buddy didn't show up. I got 8 sets of leg press in after warming up. got it done in 35 min. Not a long work out but pretty good. peaked at 990 for 7 reps. I could have gone more reps/more weight, but my tendons have gone soooooo long without that kind of stress I didn't want any damage. the muscle bellies felt like they had some more in them. Hence the number sets.

jack played in snow the first time this morning. I really wish I would have had the digi SLR ready.

Funny, I guess the wife will have to finish setting it up. just ribbing ya anyway. =)

HAHA! For there to be no work in MN we pretty much need ~60 below or over 2 feet in 10 hours. SOMETIMES schools will close on days like today, but most places will be open. I work in a hospital too. We Stay the heck open. (even though I'm not patient touch related)
