  1. 2 of them 3 15k on top of it and an ultralow simmer. No stainless or porcelain to clean either, all cast (dishwasher safe too!) BAH! I only have 18,000!!! But can your burner rack double as a trivet! Mine can..... something I doubt I would ever use in my entire life.... but it can to it lol Those really are nice units Sean. Good price point? The hood I'll get wholesale, the Bluestar at retail, the ovens at retail. The price point leans me towards the Bosch for that reason...in particular since my boss is best friends one of the real high-ups at Bosch which could yield me wholesale on all Bosch stuff as well. The Bluestar is cheaper than Viking or Wolf, but superior in every aspect other than looks which of course is the main reason that people buy commercial like ranges. One other side, I have found open burners to be hotter than sealed even at the same BTU's. Heat flow is superior so I expect those 22k ones to really fuckin' rip. Interesting! You can make diner and do some light blacksmithing. =)

  3. I mentioned it all seperately completely missing this post but... I like the wolf, but I have not used bosch or thermador. I would trust any of the 3, Wolf has a premium though. As for dish washer. I commented before, my ASKO kicks butt. Really cleans well and looks the part. Mine is all black which normaly I think is wierd looking for a kitchen but it's amazingly clean and quiet. I doubt I will ever look at another washing machine other than fisher paykal. I'm really impressed with how quiet it is, how clean it gets my clothes, it has direct drive and is top loading. Amazingly effecient too.
  4. that bluestar you are getting has a 22,000 btu burner. Omgwtfbbq!
  5. depending on how big.... my ASKO has tons of room. Also near silent. Mine was light as a feather though really. These are even bigger. http://www.askousa.com/dishwashers/xxl_dishwashers/ I was more amazed at how quiet our new washing machine is. Fisher Paykel http://www.fisherpaykel.com/laundry/index....re&section=
  6. use should have been?
  7. My brother (who is a chef) and my mother (who paid for all our family vacations by winning cooking contests) both use Dacors. They are the Rangetop style and not cooktop to get that extra burner and not have the controls up top where they are hard to clean, but very similar. Definitely works well. I might say that is fancier than what I am putting in as the Bluestar is industrial first and foremost and fancy not so much. that makes me feel good about that then. I didn't want the knobs on the front. Let me rephrase, I would like it, but in the kitchen design I have, it won't work so well. Every project I have I have had to scale back from the industrial/comercial styles I have wanted to get. Kitchen HT everything. It's not money, it's really that the house we purchased isn't work dumping huge money into. We will never get out of it what we put in. I'm positive I will be happy anyway. Like yourself I excell in excess. Thank's for the over tip. I think mine is an older Whirlpool. It was from my old house. No reason to replace. It's big enough. If I did upgrade I would do a double oven.
  8. HA! I do that. This is my new cooktop. http://www.dacor.com/Our-Products/Cooktops...s-Cooktops.aspx Not as fancy, but it will really work with what we needed.
  9. The old house we rented had an insanely powerfull fan above the cook top in the ceiling. It would make steam swirl as it rises and sucked it out. It was amazing. Too loud, but amazing. I have seen the retractable hood, That might work... maybe..
  10. see what I did there? A little TOP pun.
  11. Cook TOP
  12. I need a vent, but I don't want anything that comes down from the ceiling as it will really close up the kitchen.... I'll probably have to rearrange the whole lighting set up too, I think the fixture I have now will be right above my cooktop. That ain't good. I also am going to try to strip my old cabinets. I hope that works out. I don't want to have to buy new doors etc. If it comes to that I will end up routing my own.
  13. I know. I only have the fridge, cook top(which I just opened), a few new cabinets, dish washer, and counter tops so far.... wall oven was free from my last house.
  14. Just need to be bigger on the inside. Although they feel larger to me than the 9x, but I haven't sat in them back to back so I may be way off. I figured. It does look small. I do fit in the 996 pretty well though so one would hope.....
  15. Cool. Don't forget to take your flooring and cabinetry into account. The lady we bought our house from put in some gorgeous green granite, but with white cabinets it is a bitch to find a natural floor that looks good with it. The wife came with, she is an artist. after doing the math it looks like we might have 70sq feet of countertop. We picked something lighter than I would have ever thought of, but when we brought the sample home it turned out to be more versitile than I expected. One of the pesices we picked out for a LONG stretch has a really nice patern on it too. Almost like a big asain dragon in the stone formations. We put a sticker on the peices, but one of them they couldn't find in their invintory.... if we don't get it we will have to try another shop. That will be hell. Don't be afraid to call places in St Cloud, sometimes they are significantly cheaper. really good tip. Installed I'm looking at ~4300 after it's all said and done. My kitchen remodel is going to go over the 10k mark I think..... crap.
  16. I love the E46 m3 styling. Such a sexy looking vehicle.
  17. I'm still limping from the expected bill. The pro will come measure soon so long as those peices are still an option.

  19. of me? Of getting to snowboard. I haven't been out in 3 years. 4 years for me. I'm horrible at it, but it's great fun.
  20. Going slab shopping tonight... I can feel the wallet getting light just thinking about it.
  21. ibuprofine works well for OTC for me.. Naproxen is badass too but I will get higher than a kite on that shtuff. I hate it.
  22. x2
  23. I don't think the DSP is worth it is all. That Crowns roll off the extreme low end and are down about 2db at 10hz already and rapidly decreasing from there. Probably never notice, just what I have learn from others testing.
  24. Nice! Looks like it could fly away on me and take a stool sample to the mother ship, maybe let me know if I need should have less sodium or more b vitamins too! Which one did you end up with? I found that website right after you mentioned the brand name. Just wondered if you found one local. great minds google alike I supose.
  25. The double cyclone with the sanagloss finish is supposed to pretty much be the best flushing toilet you can get. The Ultramax I don't think you could possible clog either though. I actually bought an Aquia which is a dual-flush, but it is for the water closet between the Kitchen and Living Room but normally where I decide to try and break the septic. It will be a couple weeks before I have it installed and I can give you an update. For a low water usage toilet though it is supposed to work really well 0.9gal pee frush and a 1.6gal dukey-stick frush. I wasn't as concerned about the water usage, but saving 3000-5000gal a year isn't a bad thing either. Noice. fooking A right. I want a full review, better eat a lot of cheese and non soluable fibre! Ours is a low water use too. the Dual flush works where when you pee it uses less water by pressing a different button? That's pretty much kick ass. What's the street price? I saw them on their website and was floored at the thought of having a 1k crapper.
