  1. Then do more research before you buy. There are people destroying their BTLs with 1k and there are those that run them fine with 5k. Save up for the BTL if you want. I say go for it. But remember that install/box is 90% and product is 10% of the results. There are people with subs that cost half of the BTL and are just as loud as people with the BTL.
  2. You think Steve knows what he's doing compared to you? If you gotta ask then I'm pretty sure you don't know. Sorry to be blunt but it is what it is. YOU need variable subsonic filter unless you wanna build your box around using no subsonic or one at 28hz. up to you.
  3. lol thanks. that was fast, I just posted the other box.
  4. 4.75 cubes tuned to 34hz with kerf port.
  5. Built this for a Atomic AP/SPL. Sub is getting built with FI parts. Sub parts should be here tuesday and box is ready. This is going to be powered with an audiopipe 1500d and is going in a 2010 honda accord sedan. About 3.3 cubes tuned to 35hz with a single 6" aeroport. I'll be adding some polyfill to see how much better it would sound for the owner. Maybe about 3 lbs worth.
  6. That's what he meant.
  7. I know. I had the same problem. They have adapters. Technically, if you wanted to run that alt now, you could just call and they can tell you which wires to splice to get it to work until you get the adapter but then you will have to put the old harness back on so the adapter would fit.
  8. the subsonic filter is to cutoff frequencies below that frequency you set your subsonic filter at. That RF 2500 amp has a fix subsonic filter at 28hz. You will be mostly building your box to accommodate that instead of the other way around. Pick another amp.
  9. They'll send you an adapter.

    lol.
  11. no to the hcca if its the newer ones. old school ones were tc9 based I think. They were pretty good. It would be between the mayhem and the xl.
  12. It was an opinion, you'll get them if you post your shit up like this. But yeah, I agree with The enD. It is pretty ugly especially with the hype of making it sexy and such. I guess I have a different idea of a sexyface. Carry on.

get that weak 3pi shit outta here. We don't like your kind around here.
  14. whats your budget? Don't forget if you get 2k you will have to upgrade electricals to back it up. And I would get an amp that does the wattage you want and has subsonic filter.
  15. They are not SPL subs. With your experience, SQ isn't what you should worry about at all. You don't even know what SQ is. You'll be fine with either the BL or BTL. You can run them both on the same power if you want as well. So if you can afford to have the BTL, get it. The box and install the most crucial part though. It can make your BTL weaker than an SSD or vice versa.
  16. if you don't have a budget then get the BTL.
  17. go get it tested with the guy at autozone and if its good then buy it and resell. Remember that I got hookups for battery
  18. do you not have a budget?
  19. over excursion, it looks like.
  20. that geo would die with a DC power xp alt. lol
  21. how bad is the felt behind the cone? too much slap?
  22. hells yeah, but is this for comps? I'd tune them lower to destroy the low end but that's me.
