  1. I agree. Instead of notifying the admin, you stoop to their level. Class...
  2. okay? use lots of bracing and lose more internal volume. Fail...
  3. That's why I said for fun.
  4. build it and let us know. go 6th order for fun. lol.
  5. How about just voting for the one that deserves it?
  6. O man. If you don't know if your system is okay, you may want to get a 1000 watt amp. Do more research and reading.
  7. What are you going to use for bracing?
  8. I'd use thicker than .5"
  9. What? I asked if you mean height then you say yes but go to say port length? You need to get a 4" aeroport and redo the front baffle. You cannot have a 5" port length with the same port area if you want to be tuned anywhere in the 30s or even the 40s. You're going to tune that box in the 60s.
  10. You mean height? Because you can't decrease port width from 1.5" to 3-4. You should have gone with aeroport. Get a 4" aeroport and you may have enough room in that box. I wouldn't go out of Fi's recommendations.
  11. Yeah, I didn't look at the dimensions and just thought he knew about NET volume. Start a new box if your box is going to be too small. Its going to be way peaky and sound like shit.
  12. I'd go wider on the port width. Try to keep width to height ratios greater than 1:9. And just using WINISD with 1.5" width and 15" height for the port, the length needs to be about 15" long for 32hz tuning in a 2.0 cuft NET box. And 22.50 in^2 port area is kinda small IMO.
  13. UPS actually took my claim and helped me through the whole thing. The manager of the store I shipped it at, actually did all the paperwork for me. I got my money about 2-3 weeks after. Make sure that you show that they have your sub. Their accounting department takes care of claims. Weld it. It won't hurt. If it doesn't work then you can still send it to Fi for a new basket and new recone.
  14. Good luck with dealing with USPS. They are the worst fucking shipping company out there. They lost my paperwork, my broken amp, and then no one would help me. It took 6 months before I could convince them that they have my broken amp. Only then did I actually even got like 1/3 of the money I should have gotten. They almost threw my appeal out because it wasn't applied within the right time period. BUT that was only because they lost my amp and paperwork. I filed complain the first week I got the amp stomped on and connections broken.
  15. So whats the problem? The alt isn't doing what's its rated at OP's real idle?
  16. audiopipe 3k.
  17. Did you mean to type something, noob?
  18. psh, I installed a 10" SSD with an ap1500 before and it was fine. Plus, headroom is always nice.
  19. damn. thats awesome.
  20. I'll raise you and lower the cost as well. AP1500.
  21. That box is stupid as hell.
  22. lol. What kinda answer is that. Just let me know. O and I'd like to double the order for the parts for 4"
