  1. Its fine if you're not wanting to spend a lot more to add to your substage. Just wanted to know to see what would be good for your budget and power. I'm a little tired now but I'll list some subs tomorrow.
  2. It looks like this? http://www.crutchfield.com/p_108R1600A/Infinity-Reference-1600a.html?tp=115 If so then 400 watts rms at 4 ohms and 600 watts at 2 ohms on 14.4 volts.
  3. What is the model of your amp? I doubt its 1500 watts. Maybe 700 rms bridged.
  4. If you want something better check out all the manufacturers' sections and look at their subs. See what you like in your budget. Also, you can get one of the enclosure builders on here to build your box for you. I know there are lots of car audio guys in TX that can build boxes. This guy isn't giving models but brands. There is no way to even tell a little of a difference. He could be talking about the lowest shit from each company or the high end stuff from each company. You don't know. And, I have built a box for a convertible mitsubishi eclipse before and, yes, it doesn't have much room but a good sized ported box with aeroports for a 12" sub can be done. Hell, I didn't even use aeroports when I did it for the eclipse. 150 isn't bad for a price for a custom ported box however. But I do agree that it sounds like you want new equipment.
  5. In about two weeks, they should have the whole site in English and people wouldn't have to use translators on the site. Prices are listed on their site. These are before shipping prices and include the software for each meter. USB BASS METER - 270$ (single meter) LCD BASS METER - 330$ (no need for laptops for on-site metering but can be used with a laptop as well) USB BASS METER PRO- 470$ (two meters for vehicle side-by-side metering) USB RTA METER - 250$ (spectrum analysis) BUT we are trying to get it for less than the posted prices.
  6. I hope this blows up so everyone can get a better deal.
  7. I treat it like a dirty hot... lol. Well you get the idea. Its 3k at 2ohm minimal. Trust me, I have the amp and it says it right on the amp as well.
  8. Wtf? Do you mean on the subs? Well if you got two dual 2 ohm SSDs then you have to wire them to 2 ohm as the lowest ohm load. (well .5 ohms but I won't recommend that for you) And wtf again on the 2nd bold part. You can't unless you run 1 sub at 1 ohm or both subs at 2 ohms.
  9. I didn't know how that would show to him so I took it out. Ask me about how I treat my AP3k? lol.
  10. How more of a deal do you want? lol.
  11. I do that when they want me to. He didn't care. It was 2 coats. It needed to be sprayed. I am in the process of getting a compressor and a paint gun.
  12. it only goes up to 150.
  13. team asian warehouse! FTW!
  14. You don't need a HO alt with just that little of power unless your alt now is going to shit and you are thinking of upgrading power later.
  15. yeah, even though the owner liked it, I still am not happy.
  16. Check CACO for reviews on these amps. They have had very great reviews.
  17. Well, I wasted the paint. I need a spray gun soon. Painting will be so much easier. At least the owner still likes it for some weird reason. There was still about half the quart left and he is going to use it to paint a spoiler. Going to install it tomorrow. I need a freaking paint gun.
  18. Do you want to spend on the money on it for the best? I will say anything on your list will do, but I wouldn't use the steel.
  19. damn, I'd be really interested. Even used Tlabs are like 400+. If this is accurate enough, they may have a big boom in US buyers
  20. lol, I can airbrush but nothing like that.
