possible defective amp
Just by the gain adjustment itself. Should be around 2/3 of the way up..visualy it looks about even. but if it were just a hair off between amps, it wouldn't cause the difference that im seeing. Were talkin about a huge difference in volume between the subs when played...i did swap subs to be sure it wasnt a coil. when I first hooked it all up the excursion of both subs when played was even. I heard it fail that day. it was loud and then I heard I difference all the sudden. I looked at the 2 subs n one was moving way more than the other. I think If I order a dc or crescendo amp im gonna order a smd gain setter also

possible defective amp
Yea I unmounted them n swapped em n I plays low on the other sub too. I even hooked up 2 12s n a box. one sub to each amp, one hit alot lower than the other. Called the ebay seller today and the are gonna let me return them Thank goodness. Im gonna run both on a Crescendo bc3500 at .5 ohm n be done with it. Shoupd sound better with that amp anyway.

possible defective amp
i see what ur saying. but when i first hooked it up, they sounded and looked like they were hitting the same then all the sudden there was a huge difference the way the 2 subs were hitting. to match the excursion by eyeing it i had to turn the gain down on the good amp almost all the way to mach the bad one. i know there shouldnt be that much of a difference

possible defective amp
i hooked up 2 PSI 18S and 2 Soundstream tx1.2000d amps. Gains and freq levels were set the same on each paired amp n sub. The first lil while i played it, everything worked fine. then all the sudden i notice one sub were playing lower than the other. wtf right...checked the impedance on the coils and they check out fine. So over the last few weeks ive done everything i can think of from checking connections, swapping subs around, new rca cables, even thought it might be the bass knobs, and still one of the amps is putting out less power. I can tell there is an issue because when i play a test tone, what ever sub is hooked to that amp suffers especially in the low range 20-30hz compared to the other sub n amp that is playing at the same time. i called Soundstream and they said it either plays or it doesnt, theirs probably nothing wrong with it...wft i duno what to do. has anyone ever ran into an amp like this? i know somethinng is wrong with it even if it is playing somewhat. im def gonna try n return the soundstream amps again and get a Crescendo 3500 of SSA that ought to take car of the issue haa
