im not trying to buy a bunch of subs. i want one good sub thats loud as chit now. ill be careful with it lol To run a BTL, I would start with: Sundown SAZ-3000 whole lotta 0/1 ga wiring 2nd battery & upgraded main battery (kinetiks, optimas, powermasters, etc.) Again this is a starting point, as I have no knowledge of what size alternator, head unit, signal processors you currently have.

BUMP THIS UP. Got the trophies in yesterday, less than 2 weeks to the show. Almost 2 months and you still haven't recieved your recone? I give you props for being patient this long, but jesus christ this is rediculous. I ordered one a week ago and Nick said it had been shipped Mon/Tues but nothing has arrived yet, so I don't know what the holdup is on mine, but I expect delays w/ USPS they are unreliable as hell. I'm hoping to have the 2nd car done for the Carlisle Pa show on the 9th-11th of May. I swear by Fi and we are running them in all of the shop vehicles, and yes I know they are a smaller company, but this crap with shipping is getting rediculous, every other thread is about shipping anymore.

I'm not saying it WON'T take more, i'm just saying 1kw will wang it nicely while still being cautious.

I wouldnt put any more than 1kw to it, just to be on the safe side.

Little Update: Got one run in on the TL this morning before we got busy @ the shop. This is with very little tuning and on music (Roy Jones Jr. "Can't Be Touched"), I figure w/ a few tweaks it will be a 145db daily driver on tunes. This was a TL dash legal run sealed up. The vinyl guy also came by the shop and slapped on our rear window graphic: That's all I have for today. Maybe another update this evening if I can get time.

Get used to it, you'll deal with these people the entire time you are an installer. I've been dealing with them for years. You can try to beat all the sense into them you want, just realize that it's what they want, and they are paying you to do it.

Ok, here's the full rundown: 2002 Jeep Liberty ~ Panasonic CD/Mp3 ~ PG Rsd 6.5 Comps ~ 2 layers of SS Damplifier Pro ~ Optima G34 YT underhood w/ isolator ~ Optima 31 YT in back ~ 200a rewound HO alt ~ Twin Runs of 0/1 Ga ~ (2) 12" Fi SSD's ~ Autotek SS1900.1D @ 1 ohm (Benched in house @ around 2,000ish watts) ~ Bj Fisher Built enclosure (4 cf after displacement, 38hz, 45's in corners) I'm sure there are a few things I am forgetting When we want to go real loud, we have 2 12" Fully loaded BL's, another SS1900.1D to strap, and a burp box. But for now, it is going to stay the way it sits and be our little BassRacer while we build up the CRX.

We have yet to test the new setup, as we are waiting on Fi to ship out the last 12", but it should be going out tomorrow and be here the middle of this week hopefully. So I should have some numbers and an idea of what im going to do by this weekend.

Yep P-burg isnt that far of a drive, just head to Clarksburg and it's about 20-30 minutes south of there

Did you compete? You weren't in the white van w/ graphics that cracked the windshield on the way down by chance were you?
