I rarely post here, but I'm in Bush La. It's a really small town (if you could even call it a town) about 20 miles north of covington.

I have strong, accurate midbass from my frontstage. And my subs don't ever see 100hz.

Well let's hear them, oh and I'm not saying your wrong, but this is from a guy on the orion forum. "Hello all and I would like to say that these subs do have a nice sound to them. I was at a Meca show just a couple weeks ago and met with 2fnloud so he can verify what I am saying to be true. Dennis Chapman of DC's Electronics was running the show and judging it. In Meca they like the sound to not have a lot of bass to it but enough to accent the music. So I unplugged 5 of my HCCA 15's and left only 1 playing and turned gains on amp and radio all the way down. He said to me after that the bass was absolutely perfect. I explained to him that I had other subs for sound Q but was not at that point in my install he said to not even mess with it that is how good they sound. Just another plus for these great subs."

It's not really $15 bucks, just nobody answered the thread, sorry. I bought one on ebay for $355 shipped. Since nobody has ever played with one I figured why not.

So if someone was selling one for $15 bucks (not me, I want to buy one) none of yall would buy it!?!?

How much would yall pay for a brand new orion HCCA 15.2?

anybody know the magnet weight on a fully loaded 15" BTL?

Hi,I'm having a really hard time choosing a new sub. I think I've narrowed it down to these two, the new orion hcca 15.2, or the fully loaded 15" Fi BTL. It will be a daily setup in a 95' nissan hardbody. I will be running it on an orion 2500D in a 4 cubic foot ported enclosure. I would also occasionaly like to see some fairly good mic numbers. Please be honest as to which is the better sub for my application, thanks.
