I was wondering.... would an older btl recone with the leads coming under the spider fit and work in the new BTL Motors? If so what would be the price on just a motor, basket and gasket?

I got an 18" BTL in my 95 stang and its amazing. had it in a 6 cube box in the trunk and it hit the lows great, now its in a wall and its crazy loud. Go for the BTL man, great choice.

Iv had the amp and sub out for a wile now, been savin up some moneys Is there any place that does amp repairs for a decent price?

I follow you, but should I get a recone or get a new amp? Would the pbx amp look bad internally if it was dieing? It still looks brand new. The sub coils have a darker redish tint look to it, and I found a spot where the coils look to be scraped up, to the point where they look disconnected from each other. You can sorta see some silver in there too.

I need some info on how to buy a recone for my fully loaded D2 18" BTL, shipped to 47601 also would like to get some Fi decals, shirts, hats, ect... sent an email out to [email protected] and have gotten no response in about a week. Thanks guys

I got about 1.3V when up loud and distorting. The coils on the sub are pretty burnt looking too.

so should I get a recone for it because I turned the gain down and it still distorts.

im not sure if my sub is in need for a recone or not, but there was smoke and the dreaded smell. The weird thing is the coils measure at 1.7 ohms on one side and 1.5 on the other. I looked at em and they seem to be a lil burnt. The sub still plays but its not as loud as it was and theres distortion on certain low and higher-mid notes. Iv not yet gotten to finish upgrading my electrical, been waiting on batteries, then gotta order a ho alt. Big 3 is done tho. amp is a Powerbass Xa-3000D "internals still look new" Knu 1/0 wiring gains were set all the way down most of the time, then at 1/4 and last at half. No multimeter used, I know its all my fault, shouldnt of went that high on gains... LOL so im guessing its b\c a clipped signal might have messed it up? How much do 18" recones usually cost? What you guys think is the problem?

O yea.. I just got my BTL the other day and wow it sure was worth the wait! The UPS guy started complaining about how he was tired and about how heavy the box was you should of seen him carrying it to my door, lol.

does anybody have any Winisd driver files for any of the Fi subs? If so I would like to get my hands on em. Mine dont seem to be accurate and I would like to see how you guys did yours.

Well guy im new to this forum so Hi . Now to the question... I have just bought an 18" btl fully loaded with the spl option, and from what I read on here you cant play music at all with it wich is not my intentions. I want to be able to play music and not just a tone. I have just emailed trying to get my order changed to the Daily option. If it dosent go through will the Spl option really not be able to play my songs at all? Im really hoping I just didnt waste 500$...
