  1. I might end up running them sealed. They're a pain in the ass for my vehicle. Looks like things would need to be pretty big to be even remotely flat. I just got a good deal on them and was hoping I could get some good slap.
  2. The reason it says "too complex to display" is because of a simple bend I'm assuming? Anyway here is what I came up with. I don't know how "peaky" it's going to sound, but hopefully it will be bearable. I don't want it to get much bigger. I really dig the lows so I'm not sold on sealed for this vehicle.
  3. Trying to be around 5cu ft @ 32Hz. Got 46" across to work with max. Depth is what I'm trying to keep under control.
  4. Can't find xmax anywhere for the subs. Kind of annoying.
  5. Any idea on how much port area I should have for 2 12's? I hate this damn guessing game with Torres.
  6. Just picked up a pair in a trade. Probably going in my trailblazer. Anyone have any experience with these? I dig the lows and it's looking like I'll be tuning for 31-33Hz. Any trailblazer people have any tricks of the trade for the build? I'm thinking subs up, port back. This will be a daily on around 1k. Might chase numbers just to see, but looking for low freq performance. 7. Reminds me of Girl Most Likely. Screeech smash. This is a PORSCHE!!! Sir.... it's a Boxster. Lol
  8. Nope, not that Kendra. And like everyone else. Just sittin' here waitin' on new Flatlynes...
  9. My favorite car. CTS-V 4 door. It's a Corvette, in a Tuxedo with 2 day facial hair and a cigarette.
  10. Name is budmann and you have a VW bus. Subtle. Lol
  11. Not enough sealed xcon builds. They're the bees knees.
  12. I have considered this, as box volume is a limiting factor in my G6. Since I already have 1 BC2000, would strapping another for each Xcon be a viable solution? XCONs sealed are insanely clean. I would follow jay-cee's advice. Run them at 1 ohm and decide if you want more later. The accuracy and output of xcons is staggering. I've heard two 15's sealed at ~1000RMS a piece and was VERY impressed.
  13. XCONs sealed will surprise you.
  14. I agree with you here ...The X02 and the X04 works really well ... but the best one is the X03 This one, I do not ...Linear Power is the only brand that hold it's value longer than any other amplifier brand in the world ... We do not know of any other amplifier product on the car audio market that sells "used" for almost the same prices for when they were sold as new products ... They are VERY well built and work just as good 20+ years later as they do when they were new ... ... And almost all Linear Power products are capable of being repaired and modified with more "up to date" technology ... I do not know of ANY other product that does this ... Now please ... End this and help the op with what he needs to get his system set up instead of bashing products ... Thank you ... No I meant an X01, there was one on the bay for 325. Wasn't going to use it, just add it to the collection. I disagree about LP amplifiers. I am a fan and while a lot are collecting Orion, Phoenix Gold, and old Alpine, I like to collect LP. I've decided on a 952, 3002, and 8002 to run in the Cadillac. They're all currently being paid off, upgraded, and repaired lol. I would not say they are overpriced, they are expensive. But either way, I'm a fan. Oh and buying used, repairing, and modding a LP amp is not too bad at all. A JL HD 600/4 is 799.99 msrp. I can say I paid considerably less for both amps, repair, internal mods by Jeremy, and hammer finish gold powder coating.
  15. You should probably post the same question a third time, that way you know it gets noticed.
  16. Didn't you hear bro? Vinyl wrap and graphics to come soon. LOL.
  17. I almost bought a Linear Power XO1, but too rich for my O/S blood.
  18. the SounDigital amps are extremely reliable when treated well. SoundDigital uses TO-247AC's. I don't buy amps that are that bad on audio. Manufacturer even lists the applications they can be used for as UPS's, Battery Operated Vehicles, Welding, and Solar Converters/Inverters. I'm sure they're great for burping, but I listen to too much music to sacrifice that much.
