  1. Congrats on the girl man! Is it just me or is it weird that people question our new amp supplier about a lot of things, people agree, and I ask about their prices and people get a good grip on their balls and start swinging. Give me a break. People pay for quality and reputation. If i don't know who you are, I'm not shelling out the money I do for companies I trust.
  2. Bleh, done with the topic.
  3. Your enclosure is 90% of the sub setup, so yes it is most likely the problem.90 percent ... No, I wouldn't go that far. If that was the case, There wouldn't have been any need to go with those expensive Zcons you're running. You could have done just as good with a custom built CNC enclosure with a pair of Funkey Pups ... Pretty sure running TWO Funky Pups in a vehicle is illegal in 49 of 50 states.
  4. So American bass is in the crescendo class? No American Bass is much lower on the totem pole, but they are established.
  5. Exactly, makes it a hard sell to me for a new manufacturer. Not going to shell out the money to a brand new company when I can get a Crescendo for the same price unless there was something that someone can prove is worth it. What would make a consumer choose this over a Crescendo? That's my point.
  6. Hence the question as to what makes them cost more. It was a fact finding mission not a chance to flex internet balls, but whatever makes you happy man. I'm not going to assume that the amplifiers are made of gold until it's proven they are.
  7. So every amp should be the same price going by your logic. They are pricey compared to what? Actually that's not even close to what I said. Compared to other amplifiers, they are more expensive. And yes, all amplifiers with similar features should be priced fairly close. That's like saying 600 horsepower cars should be in all price ranges. Well hell yes I'd love that. But someone paying big money for the same power would probably be disappointed in their purchase. I was asking what made the amplifier's price higher than comparable models as there could be difference to make it worth the price. I wasn't being rude, nor was I trying to stir the pot, I'm gathering information. Thanks for adding a high level of maturity to the topic.
  8. I wouldn't mind seeing Pacific Rim in John's Lincoln. LOL, dubstep+robot noises in there would probably give you heart palpitations.
  9. Also I'm glad to see I'm not the only skeptic here as far as amplifiers go.
  10. They look great but kinda pricy. If I need a good Korean amp, I usually grab an American Bass amp. What makes these better than say a $250 PH-4000 MD? http://www.americanbassusa.com/product.detail/product_id/141 Having trouble justifying cost. Not being a dick, I am legitimately interested.
  11. Hey man, my mom-in-law does rescue for all sorts of dogs, she has had like 3 dobies and she kept one. If you want I can ask her to peek around for you bro. Get me a city/state and I'll see what she can do, if you want.
  12. Hey Godsmack, google "Dragon Inside". I always get shit from them. Spend $400 and get a tailored, very high quality suit.
  13. Aaaaaaaand /endthread.
  14. Damn Alton. You wanna sticky that? Lol
  15. Awesome amp. To me ZED is amp porn at it's finest.
  16. Hell yea, can't beat that.
  17. Zapco traded for a Diamond Audio Technology D5 300.4 in pretty decent condition. Might redo the body but I'm still trying to come up with a plan for it.
  18. Just picked up a sheet of 1/2" maple ply to make my scorpion coffee table. Found out he's a boy, named him Skitter (Falling Skies reference). Also just traded my Zapco i2100 for a Diamond D5 300.4
  19. This means a good price to most companies, unless you're Kevin.
  20. Have to have at least 8 ports. 4 on each side. Spider Enclosure.
  21. ABS is one I have seen before, and I doubt it is. They usually don't have that darker body color. J It's a giant hairy desert. Nice little beginner scorp, should be a nice little addition to the family.
  22. I'll start a Build Log in Off Topic when I start building his new tank and snag as many pictures of him as I can. He's a little bastard. If he was an Emperor I'd pick him up, but all desert scorpions are bungholes so I pretty much leave him be. According to a local he's one of three breeds. I'm waiting for some experienced people on a ScorpionForum to identify it. He could be: Giant Desert Hairy Scorpion - Easy care, somewhat agressive, but an ok beginner scorpion. Arizona Bark Scorpion - Poisonous as all hell, might have to be re-homed. Deathstalker - Somewhat poisonous, mean as hell, but very interesting. Hairy would be the best option, but I secretly hope he's a Deathstalker LOL, don't tell the wife.
