Welcome to the IHoP v.2
He's way under size and weight. He was in a glass tank, stuffed in a closet. He hadn't eaten in over a month. Poor thing looked like a cracker when we got him. Dropped him a shot of crickets and he nailed about 6 of them. Considering he's the size of a zippo lighter, he definitely stuffed himself. Now he seems content rearranging the tank all night. Kind of wasting his time though cause he's a desert scorpion and should be in sand. As soon as I fab up his new tank, he'll have a little post-apocalyptic wasteland to wander.

Got called in the middle of the night for an animal rescue. Usually I only take in snakes and monitors, but whatever. I've got the shop available to me, might as well make a vivarium coffee table and enjoy the show.

2 subs at different tuning?
So I didn't feel like reading through all the nonsense but are you proposing a sixth order BP?

Who we are and what we offer.
The guys are pretty serious about their subwoofers and get fairly in depth. If you have any heat dissipation charts, or response curves, full T/S parameter, etc., I recommend posting them. Your prices are lower than some of the other brands, but most people want to know why. This kind of determines whether or not it's worth it to consider your company as an option. SSA is a fantastic forum with some VERY knowledgeable people. You kind of have to cater to that. In my opinion that's the only real way to survive in this game. Also people need to see some of the product. Four bills is a lot of money to just throw out there for something no one has any experience with. I personally am very interested to see how your woofers perform. With the parameters you provided, they seem like excellent subwoofers for sealed applications specifically.

I can't even stand being cut @ 80Hz. 150 would be awful.

FINALLY, just got ahold of schematics for the Soundstream Granite 120.4. I'll probably get started on repairing it and upgrading parts. As soon as I've got it apart, I'll strip it and have my tattoo artist buddy start custom painting it, everything from a new logo and all the adjustment markings.

Yea I can do plenty cosmetically. Only problem there is worth... I have an Audiobahn A2300HCT that's a pretty cool amp. 1200x2 @ 1Ohm or bridgeable for 2400x1 @ 1Ohm. Seems like an easy enough thing to customize but not sure if it's worth it. Was going to powder coat it black, create a new plexi cover with a much larger and quieter fan. Not sure if I'm going to do it now though as a few people have said the amp is crap lol, seems fine to me. Anyway, I'm always interested in fun things like that. If I'm going to buy an amp for my custom car, I'd like it to look just as cool as the car. I'll see what pans out. I have the amp on Craiglist locally and have had a few people interested, but being a little low balled. Edit: Feel free to PM man if you have any ideas or interests. Maybe we can do something.

Well I wasn't really trying to make a transaction, just seein' if anyone needed it. I really don't care much about money (though I probably should, broke and baby on the way). Either way, I can get most common amp schematics through my work. I don't know if I'd need my own section though haha. Couple of questions for you guys though. Anyone have any experience with American Bass Amplifiers? I've been looking at the PH4000MD and it seems like a decent amp and I can get two of them for around $750 total. Any info? Oh and the POS Toxik Audio amp is currently running an Image Dynamics ID12v3.D4. My dad wanted something fairly low power and inexpensive. I'm actually fairly surprised by how it performs. I'll post pics as soon as the pics hit my inbox. 4G doesn't seem as fast as it pretends to be...

Actually it is priced quite well for the material, the quality, the detail and especially who is building them. There are plenty of options for high tuned, cheaply slapped together 5/8" MDF boxes on ebay. These are a much higher quality enclosure for customers who want a superior product, lighter material, better built and longer lasting with less peaky performance. Just like our SSA sub woofers, if you want the metaphorical Kia, get an Audiopipe, but if you want the metaphorical Mercedes, get the SSA, or in this case a Khaotik. In other words, a high end American made-to-order product for customers who want some of the best on the market. I meant no offense buddy. I just can build my own enclosure for less is what I am referring too http://lmgtfy.com/?q=BUSINESS+ECONOMICS- my trunk the last 10 months
