Thanks guys, Ive been researching fiberglass, and ive decided to build it myself for sure. But I cant decide if I want to make alot of it out of wood with the top fiberglass, or make the whole thing out of fiberglass, what do yall think?

Ive never made anything big with fiberglass, Im afraid it wouldnt turn out very well.

I have 2 12" Fi Q's and im probobly going to order a subthump box for them, because I hear subthump makes one of the best prefab boxes for Camaros and Trans-Ams. However, these boxes only have a total of about 2 cu. ft. and after diplacement that would only leave me about .85 cu. ft. per sub. These boxes dont take up the whole rear well though, so if you guys think it would be worth it, I could cut out part of the bottom of the box and add some space down there. Thanks, Ben

http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=447719 VHT Nightshade is made specifically for this, I think you can order it from Summit thats what Im going to use when I do my tail lights, you can do more or less coats if you want it darker or lighter, then you spray it with clear and polish it up, comes out nice and shiny.

Ive been looking at this amp to power my 2 12" 1ohm Fi Q's. I am on a budget and this amp looks good for the money. I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with this amp. I was looking at the Hifonics 2006d before this one, but i hear its terrible so im trying to go in a different direction. Thanks, Ben

Well, I've been looking to start my first real system, and I found a really good deal on these 2 subs. They are the 1ohm 12" Q's. I am pretty newbish and was wondering what configuration would be best (I would guess just wiring them for 1ohm final), and what amps would be good options to push these? Im still in highschool with a part time job so my budget is a little tight (but feel free to say what you think, I can save up if need be). Many thanks, Ben
