  10. i was going to do this to a old amp i had laying around but i sold it a few weeks ago. so instead i took out the 6.5" woofer out of my 7.1 stereo system for my pc and hooked up my 12" ssd to it, of course a different box instead of the wimpy .8 or whatever cubic foot box it was in. the amp is stable at 4 ohms, so i have my dual 1 ohm ssd wired in series so the amp sees a 2 ohm load which is roughly 30 watts. i cant turn it up too loud or it'll cut off, i'll be upgrading the amp for the sub sometime around summer, but its still good enough for me, night and day difference over the 6.5".
  11. how'd your 18 turn out on the 3000d? the btl loves the 3000d, im just waiting til i get my truck back now from the body shop, so i can remove the back seat, and build a amp rack, run 0 gauge and also hook up a yellow top im getting. the btl sounds great in the box, i made a double baffle the other week for it, and i sealed every crevace shut. thanks again for the help!
  12. lol, welcome to ssa
  13. you know that box is going to be like 2 times the size of the one i had my ssd in....

  22. ahhh i figured it was a shuttle like one of the buses, they pick you up at the terminal and take you to one of the parking garages.
  23. ahhh, well next time you're in baytown, and like to get a gtg goin, let me know.
  24. yeah 270k is a lot.....for a shuttle car i'd expect it to be lower what year is the car?
  25. is a maxima big enough? but i still dont have my icons in... and it will be kool if yal get a lil meet together should be pretty interesting where are you from! beaumont/baytown probably wont come to the meet, but it would be kool to see a lil ssa get together where exactly do you stay? beaumont and baytown are like 60+ miles apart from one another. im in crosby, and if you live in baytown, then of course you heard of crosby.
