i have two batteries and i have a fosgate 1500x1 i was wondering that if i ran just the two batteries would i be fine for a couple of months?

where can i find some of them at? i have a s10 with a 2.2 so the option might be limited

where can i find them reducers???

has anyone owned one of there alts and what do you thing if you have???

i got the fosgate 1500x1 mini and the amp has 4 gauge inputs. on the fosgate site it sys i will lose alot of power if i go the 4 gauge way. so should i just use 1/0 up until like a foot away from the battery and then run 4 gauge? or will just 4 gauge be aright??

alright i will try out the 200 amp one. should i isolate the second battery that has all the compressors and the stereo hooked up.

the guy at the dealership said that if the amps on the alt are to many then it would fry the batteries after so long. how true is that?

im thinking about buying a new alt. i talk to a guy at the chevy dealership and he said that a 160 amp alt would be plenty to run 2 batts and draw of around 240 amps on 1 of the batteries. im wondering that if i get a 160 would it be good and how long it would last. its about 50 bucks cheaper than the 200 amp one. kinda on a budget.

they are 6in deep and i am putting a fosgate t1500x1 on them and they are dual 1 ohm. like i said im alright with doing a sealed box i just wanted to try a ported one.

can some one help me out on designing it i dont knwo where to place the ports and everything else

i want to design a box for my 10in ssds. i kinda wanted to go ported so they require at least .9 of airspace after displacments. the space i have to work with is 53in long 15in tall bottom depth around 11in top around 4in. its going in a standard cab s10 so if anyone has better ideas that would be cool i just kinda wanted to go ported this time instead of sealed but if i cant it aint no problem

wouldnt that be kinda pointless since there is power coming from both ways?

any update on when you get the subs in? what do they handle and how much airspace do they need?

if they are 300 rms fosgate has the last years punch thats 600x1 that would be good. and they are cheap at cartronixplus.com
