If you have room for the 2 15" subs they will be louder but you could go with a single 18 and you would have adequate power for it... Just use flatwind coil and bp power... Or a single 18" BL... I always say go for the most displacement sub you can cause it keeps costs down...

Yeah its called a seat lift kit but i can't use one cause my back seat isn't mounted to the floor, its mounted to the cab wall with a pole...

Ok, well Im trying all I can do to get some cf out of the box that im making to go under my back seat of my truck... I have figured out I can get about .74 cf out of my box but i might be able to get another .1-.2 cf out of it.... If it stays at the .74 cf, what would that do to the sound? I can use polly fill in it also, would that help? And if i can manage to get it up to .8-.9 before displacement, how much better would that be because it will be a decent ammount of work to get those extra few tenths of a cf...

bass boost is bad... Gains are probably too high also...

That might actually be under-powering them... Each one will only be getting about 500-600 rms... That should be enough for them to still be great but they can handle twice that.... Especially with BP power and Flatwind coil... Fi subs are all some BEASTS!!!

Did they not send you a tracking number? If so just check that and you can know exactly where it is... Unless it hasn't shipped yet...

Well, my box for my truck is gonna have to have a few pretty tricky shapes in it and I need to be sure that the magnet will clear on one side thats gonna be sloped.... I just need to know how wide the mag is on the ssd and if you don't mind, the Q as well... Thanks...

Ive just heard they have shady business techniques and it isn't really anything with their products, but you hate to do business with someone who you have heard is shady...

Are kicker amps decent though? This is my first system so Im not looking for anytihng award winning... And I don't need any audiophile amps or anything like that, just a decent amp that will do its rated power....

Don't buy fatmat, its the same thing at peel and seal... Use raamat... www.raamaudio.com And thos fi would probably be the best choice out of those...

I am looking at an amp for my pioneer premiere ts-c720prs speakers and came across a refurbished usx2080 for $50 plus shipping... It does 80rms at 4 ohms and is made by zed audio... Just wondering if anyone knows anything about these? If anyone else has a suggestion for an amp that does under 100rms for under $100, lemme know.... Im not against buying used...

Why not just go with a 12 if sound quality and getting loud is what you are after? It will also cost half as much.... Thats something else to think about.... 2 subs and an amp thats 2 times as powerful vs 1 larger sub and an amp that is half as powerful.... That will leave you with money to get rid of the sony speakers and deaden your doors....

Well a zx1000.1 is like $250 on ebay plus shipping and a 750.1 is like $170 plus shipping but they are refurbs with a 90 day manufacturer warranty

I was looking for a 1000 watts RMS amplifier at either 2 or 1 ohm... I am gonna put it to a 12" Fi SSD... Also, how much of a difference in sound will there be between 750rms and 1000rms? I was looking at a zx1000.1 but was wondering if there is anything as good for cheaper... I figured if i got it at 1 ohm it would be cheaper for the wattage vs. 2 ohm 1000 watts...

Get a 12" SSD or something... A single larger driver will perform better for the same price...
