sorry if this is in the wrong place, i wasnt really sure where to put it. move if needed. i just know lots of RE questions get asked so i'd thought i'd start it here. i posted the same thing on caraudio forum and thought i might as well post it here too. if anyone has any ideas i am open for anything. -getting around on a build for an 18 inch 2005 xxx. ive done some searching on box sizes and such for this and i am thinking... 8 cubes 34 hz 115 inches of port do those numbers sound about right? bigger box? more port? this is going in a 97 grand marquis...huge effing trunk...FTW amp is a saz1500 i was also porting the rear deck and taking out the back deck speakers. was thinking sub back and port pretty much right into the "ported rear deck area." not too sure on that idea though... any other ideas for getting this big trunked car loud? i can get some pics sometime if anyone would like to see the area i am working with. weston

yeah i would hold onto it. it does pretty much everything i can ask of it. i have 3 05 xxx 12's. one needs a recone. i am saving them for a worthwhile vehicle down the road that is worth putting the money into. i would like to get 2 of them reconed to 15's and use them. until then i will just stockpile as many as i can.

just as much as if it were brand new. 1600+ after the recone you will have a "brand new" sub

they look nice. i have three 05 xxx 12's. 1 needs a recone. i am just awaiting a vehicle that is worthy of dumping money into before i install them.

what do u think of this then? can't say i have ever seen that before. but since it has xxx on it, i am guessing its the chit. details? thanks
