i installed 2 10" w1's of a jl e1200 monoblock amp in a sealed enclosure, larger than recommended, and you couldnt tell he even had a system, i strongly dislike those subs and anything by jl, they are way over rated IMO I really like the w6 my friend has in his hummer, but it's an expensive sub.

So I would need an external processor of some sort?

You can do it, just make sure it's run well and protected.

Don't run it under the car, it's exposed down there.

I'm wanting to go with a 3-way active system in the SC sometime in the future. I already have a Pioneer 880 and a 10" SSA Icon. My question, though, is about signal. I know my HU had 3-way abilities, but is that for a tweeter, mid, sub set up? If I want to go tweeter, midrange, mid bass, and sub will I need an external processor?

I was very disappointed with my buddies that he bought. Couldn't handle any type of power it seemed.

I picked mine up for like $225 on ebay, works like a dream.

I listened to one in a Subaru. It was a nice sounding woofer. I personally liked the sound of my Q better, but still not a bad speaker.

You can probably "get away" with that, but honestly I'd do a run of 0/1 gauge if you plan on running those three amps.

What market would YOU say the ZED amps are geared towards?

I, too, have an 880. I haven't used it much because my car loves to quit on me every 5 minutes, but the CD player is GREAT! I used to only buy Alpine, but Pioneer has won my heart with this one!
