  4. just goto a automotive eleclectrical shop and ask for a load test
  5. nick said scott has been really sick
  6. take the wires out of the port, drill a hole in the back of the box and run the wires through and seal it off with glue..... then it will look a little more proffesional
  7. i wonder if fi has the x still? that would be a cheap and loud woofer

  11. had them in a sealed box though just didnt get loud enough, but the sq was great
  12. goto a sound shop and get your head unit and amps o-scoped
  13. Bp Power: just finished adding a new option for the SSD and Q series subs. This new option adds a machined aluminum compression plug to the pole which helps channel all of the air under the dustcap around the coil for better cooling. To aid with this increased airflow we also add 6 axial cooling channels in the top plate. Along with increased thermal capacity comes the addition of an extra spider and a changed spider pack for a little extra mechanical ability. All of these new features increase power handling from 200-500 Watts depending on the application. Its just another way of tuning and tailoring your subs to your exact needs. 14. like brian said the btl will handle that power nicer, pushing 2400 to a bl is a little pushy
  15. Fi

The BL line is pretty much a lower power alternative to a BTL or a higher power alternative to the Q series of woofers. This is more of a street jamming type woofer that
  16. what he said above and also if you bought subs from them shoulda got small decals, if u want bigger goto a sticker shop
  17. i dont believe you because i have two type-r's sitting in my room collecting dust because they are chitty speakers
  18. the q's have a good review, i run 2 out a ported box tuned to 32hz, but ive heard q's in sealed they still get really low and the sq is amazing
  19. why use optima's as they are not deisnged for car audio only for those extra cranking amps, if you were to put in a second battery id go with kinetik
  20. those type-r's having trouble picking up them lows? as it sounds like it...

    sounds like clipping to me
  22. the q will be a great sub for you, now sealed itll sound better but lose a little output vice versa with ported
  23. muddybass replied to jlm7291's topic in Fi Products
the bl puts out alot of output but if you want that true kick in the ass and have the right power for it id suggest a btl
  24. i think you will be happy with that setup and so will your pockets haha, maybe later on down the road with a little more money you could get a btl but no need unless you wanna go deaf by 30
