  3. i just installed this in my truck about 2 weeks ago and really havent played around with it that much, ill get it on the meter soon but i can tell a big difference in output from the 2 12's fi qs i had in there before... when i had the q's they were in a box tuned to 29hz so the lows were great but i wanted to see what kind on numbers this sp4 could throw.. so far i like the results as what i have seen so far
  4. heres a pic of my sp418 in my box box was 10.12 before displacement but after sub and port displacement it dropped down to 8.02 it tuned to 35hz ran on a aq 2200

  13. small up front bigger one in the back.. xs batteries are best on the market but pricy.... I would put a small battery up front and try to purchase a deka 9a31 for the rear shouldn't have any problems after that 9a31's are 100ah

Past Q options: The 2009 and earlier Q series woofers allowed for a “BP” option which was a machined aluminum compression plug to the pole which helps channel all of the air under the dustcap around the coil for better cooling. To aid with this increased airflow we also added 6 axial cooling channels in the top plate. Along with increased thermal capacity comes the addition of an extra spider and a changed spider pack. All of these features increase power handling from 200-500 Watts depending on the application. We no longer offer this option with the 2010 Q series woofers. This is simply for reference for people who want to know what past options were offered.
