  2. big sizes hopefully I wear 4x tall
  3. the old qs will handle more then a 1000w especially when put into the correct enclosure
  4. that is tru^^^ but you know what happens when he put little power to them and wants it to be louder the volume knob and gain go up therefore nuking a sub
  5. its not horrible advice if you know what your doing ^^^ ive ran my qs for years and never had any problems
  6. take your original harness and use a t-tap to tap into a wire that is powered by ignition meaning you will have to try a few times to get the right wire... you don't want to tap into a constant... the singer alternator does it have a box on the top of it (regulator) or is it just 3 wires? Is the alternator powder coated?
  7. those woofers are gonna want more power I run the old qs on 3k your gonna end up turning the gain up to much and killing them... what kind of electrical system do you have? if you have one I would consider dropping that amp to .5 ohm
  8. what kind of amp are you running with them
  9. hopefully alton chimes in to help you
  10. SP4 team sub and a ns-1
  11. lol.. i hope this wasn't an advantageous suggestion in the view of the OP.. I would fall dead right now. did you like that shizzon
  12. Congratulations man!!! I know that feeling.. be sure to listen to nick
  13. Hard to read that lol but I recommend buying a group 31 optima if you do
  14. I followed stock charging wire and one goes to battery other to starting source but looks like no fuse
  15. you have to take it out to ship it back anyways
  16. You are correct but seeing as 9/10 when an accident occurs and the airbags are tripped it automatically shuts off the engine. Therefore not being able to send a charge through that wire. But like I said that's 9/10 you always have to leave error for human error or manufacturer malfunction.
  17. largest fuse is master ignition
  18. I don't have a fuse box under the hood.
  19. A Fuse isn't always needed from your alternator to battery the oem wire doesn't use a fuse. But im sure it wont hurt..
  20. also use a dmm and see what the alternator is charging from the top post of the alternator then you will see what it is actually putting out
  21. I don't use a fuse between the alternator and battery just battery to amp
  22. because every other speaker has one pinned why not do it for the sp4
  23. Can we get a section pinned to this forum of the options and what they do with the sp4 and also enclosure recommendations
  24. Country superstar George ''The Possum'' Jones dies this morning quite a sad day. God bless his family, friends, and family...
