There isn't a completely "green" electricity source out there. They'll bitch about everything, so they may as well lay off. It's not like they're going to think up any new ways to create electricity. Screw the hippies and go nuclear. That's what I say.

During high school and college I was very tan because I'd be outside all the time without my shirt on, playing catch with my brother or roommates, or fishing, working on the farm, etc. But I've sat at a desk for the last two years and I've turned back white. The sucky part is that my gf was outside the same amount as me, at the same times, is also German (though some Spanish), is whiter than me, and didn't get burned 1/4 as bad as me. Unlucky me.
  3. It appears to be just two of their 500.1 amps in one casing. Depending on how they have the two amps wired internally, you'd want either a 1 ohm or 4 ohm load on each set of terminals (top and bottom). If it's like normal strapping of amps, you can put a 1 ohm load on each set of terminals.

my shoulders are peeling a ton. They itch so bad! My feet are going to be interesting. I think they're going to peel about 4 times consecutively. I probably burned them to the bone.

I think for supper I'm going to have a leftover sloppy joe, a can of peas, four pieces of chocolate cake, and two strawberry shortcakes. It's ok because I'm about to go for a run.

what'd you do? Lol, your bitching at getting up at 9? Wow. Yeah, I've got to get up every weekday at 6:45 for the entire month of June and go to back to back to back two hour classes. Hell even that is a fucking cakewalk compared to the stuff other people in here have to go through, so I ain't complaining.... I wake up at 6:15 every day. On the weekends I can't sleep past about 7-7:30 because my body is just used to waking up early.
  9. I play a lot of Call Of Duty. My parents have gotten quite mad about them being able to hear bass halfway across the house while they were trying to sleep. Lol What is the difference between second, first, and third order highpasses? Thanks Different circuitry. But for the basics, a first order is -6db, second order is -12db, third order is -18db, etc.
  10. Get a second amp for the additional speakers. Or better yet, don't put them in. Why do you need 4 pairs of speakers in there? But to answer the question, you'd have to wire two speakers in series, giving you a total of four 4 ohm loads, assuming the new speakers you get are also 2 ohms. If you put each pair of speakers on a channel, each speaker would get 35 watts.
  11. My experience with 10s has not been awesome. I blew the first 10" I had and the next set got stolen a week after I put them in. I like 12s and 15s. Never tried 8s or 18s.

Dang she has a nice ass though
  14. are you sure you don't have that turned around? Sealed box size is always smaller than ported. How close is the motor to the back wall of the enclosure?

I find the best way to hear distortion in a trunk is to have it playing at the level you think is the maximum, then open the trunk and take about 10 steps backwards and listen. It's easier to hear distortion from a ways away.

Well that was quite possibly the most boring softball game ever. We lost 12-2 and had like 6 total hits as a team. I didn't get a single ball in right field, for the second week in a row. I'm going to change positions next week. But before the game was interesting. I followed an ambulance and police car to the field. Apparently a dude broke his kneecap or something, somebody said it was twisted to the backside of his knee. As they were getting him on the stretcher and things he just kept muttering "it hurts so bad" with a very pained face and he didn't want to move at all. I bet it would.

I don't really understand why this is such a big holiday in America. Why do/should we care when Mexico won a battle against the French? It isn't even a federal holiday in Mexico. Plus the mexicans still lost the war with the French and were occupied shortly thereafter.

native resolution is the ONLY setting you should ever use on an LCD. I see why that is now.

You'll want to set the subsonic around 25 hz and the lowpass somewhere between 60 and 80 hz, depending on how low your interior speakers can play effectively.
  22. To elaborate, most music (like the rap song mentioned) have their "lows" in the mid 30s to mid 40s hz. For those, you just want to tune your box to 30-35 hz. However, lows in movies and games are down in the teens. For that you most likely want a sealed box, or can sometimes get away with a ported box tuned to 15 hz or something. So as you can see, the desired box for one is not even close to the desired box for the other. And, for that matter, totally different subs are also normally desired for the two applications. The kickers may be ideal for the vehicle application because they like to play at 40-50 hz. But play them down at 12 hz and they'll be begging for mercy. However, put something designed for in-home use or at least have better parameters for such application, such as the Dayton, and you'll get much better results. Also, it's pretty hard to compare subs in a vehicle to one in a house. In a vehicle you have cabin gain and a LOT less air to compress. Your home has none of this. Two 12s with 500 watts will always be louder in a vehicle than in home.

Oh, forgot to share: I passed my fundamentals of geology exam! I thought I was on the fence so I was super excited to see a certificate come in the mail. Glad I didn't have to retake, it costs $250. And I heard only 55% of people pass the test. So now I'm an intern geologist. After two more years at my job I can take the practice of geology exam and become a licensed Geologist. Then I pretty much get the run of the mill at jobs.

My finance class teacher allowed one sheet. Her tests were easy anyways though. I had an A and didn't have to take the final.

My new 19" LCD screen is awesome, much better than the one in my laptop. The resolution is 1440x900. Though for some reason if I try any resolution less than that things get a little fuzzy. Glad this resolution looks the best anyways. Can't wait to watch porn for the first time.
