I think I'm going to join the YWCA next to where I work. I always thought they hated men, but apparently they don't. It's not going to be as much fun working out by myself, but it's just so convenient because I park right in front of it every day for work. Plus they have a pool, which most gyms don't.

the highlights of my day include hot sauce and getting results in my lab report that actually make sense I love getting lab results. But for my job it's like "I hold some of the future of this company in my hands right here. If the results show they're ok, they have nothing to worry about. Three ways are nice, but you really have to implement them properly. With the additional speaker it takes more tuning, but can sound better in the end. The way I see it you have two options to do 3 way. One is to get a whole new 3-way component set that comes with passive crossovers made for it. Or the second is to buy an additional 4" driver and go active. You'd likely have to purchase an external 3-way crossover for this, and a 4 channel amp. You could use your hifonics on the midbasses and the new 4 channel on the mid and highs.

I'd also like to know where you got 26 hz from.

subs usually have an fs between 25 and 40 hz or so, for 10+ inch drivers. From the sound of it, those 7 inchers you have are more meant as a mid/midbass, like in a 2-way component setup.

larger gauge wire has larger current carrying capability. if you use 8 gauge, for example, on your 3000d, it will be trying to suck a bathtub full of water through a straw (metaphorically speaking). Upgrade that straw to 6" piping (1/0 gauge) and it can get the water (electricity) easier.

This is kind of a no brainer question but, would it hurt to use the Ga I have right now? I mean has it been proven bigger gauge more current? yes, it has.

oh, I was confused with the second to last picture. I thought the drivers were mounted on the outside box. But now I see that picture is of the inside box, without the outside box over the top of it yet. Did you read somewhere that putting four of them together like that would work? In my thinking, it wouldn't react the same as just one. But maybe I'm wrong.

I'm trying to picture the airflow, but this design isn't like anything I've seen before. It looks like the back wave can go both up the inside between the two boxes as well as inside the inner box? Where does the back wave exit the enclosure? I just can't see it from the pictures.
