  1. you mean Krazie
  2. i'd say just build whatever you want to end up with, then just power the two with the one amp for now, then when you get the second you can add it in. that way you don't have to build multiple boxes or change much. oh and I have about......40-45 sq. inches for my 15 I believe, and it works well.
  3. well it's not the sub (thank goodness). both coils read 1.9. must be something with the amp, maybe i'll open it up sometime.
  4. There's a chance I may need a recone or something (hope not ), my sub amp has been cutting out the last two days and the protection light was on. Gonna take a DMM to the coils sometime soon. but my question is........would there be any gain by reconing my older model D2 with the new Mag's soft parts? Or do you think I should just get a new Mag?
  5. the 15 would probably have the edge in SPL due to cone area, but I don't know how much if the Mag is inherently louder given the same sizes.
  6. +1 100 posts! just had to get it in.
  7. there's a chance you might get port noise with the 25 sq. inch box at high power levels, but other than that, not really.
  8. my winISD says that's tuned to 27, so you're good. almost the same setup I have, except i have the BMF series, and my box is 3.8 @ 30 hz, and I don't have the new model 15. so.......basically everything is just a tad different sounds great though
  9. just one more reason to buy a 15 then
  10. true true. I am settled.
  11. haha sorry, just couldn't pass it up. details.....hmm.......are you still the pitcher?
  12. hmm..........sure goferit! whatever you like, it's cool with us.
  13. What are the fuses on each amp? am I reading you right that you're gonna use 3 amps?
  14. to answer your question about your charging system, I would bet you're going to need to upgrade it a bit. What size alternator does that have on it, like 70 amps?
  15. did you get that hooked up?
  16. it would be awesome. i know it's a little different, but if you look under demo cars at SI's website it shows loyd lowry's car with 4 12's. IIRC it was his loudest setup, and he was a serious competitor for many years.
  17. dang I wish i could hear that. looks good
  18. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm *scratches chin*
  19. oh, well, fine then. just hate on me with my OLD sub. maybe I should just put it out to pasture, huh? admit it into a nursing home, is that what you think I should do? Why don't we just take it out back and shoot it.
  20. http://www.realmofexcursion.com/videos/Sou...rity/d215.1.wmv there's mine, though it can def. do more. And last night i was playing some bass mekanik while i was driving around just listening (gotta do that once in a while), and the track started off pretty decently, some pretty loud 50-60 hz bass rolls, then all of a sudden it dropped, probably down to my tuning (30 hz), and my ears felt like they were going to explode. not even joking, it felt like so much pressure in my eardrums. the higher bass rattled everything and was loud and all, but the lower stuff I could feel the air moving, and it wanted to suck my eardrums out. that is all.
  21. are those stable at 1 ohm now? They used to just be 2 ohm stable......
  22. yeah, that thing actually looks like it could put out rated power
  23. sweet stuff you got there, i'm sure it's gonna be awesome.
