  1. I just had two of the DD1508 subs installed in my trunk and am absolutely amazed at what they are putting out. These frigging subs pound and sound like (2) 12's. has anyone else had the pleasure of running these same subs and if so any comments on the way they performed?
  2. That's great to know. I more or less figured it would be but wasn't 100% sure. thank you for the input.
  3. Hi. Can anyone tell me if this is a good amp or not. (SAZ 1200d.1 Mono.) I am aware of Sundowns reputation of having great Speakers/Subs but I don't know about this particular amp. I am planning on using it to power (2) DD1508 D4 subs and would like to know that it will be sufficient with over head left. I do appreciate all input and thank you.
  4. hi do you still have this sub and if so how much?? thanks

  7. I'm sorry that you feel that way that I made a terrible mistake because as far as I am concerned It is a great choice. You have your likes and I have mine. They are both great subs so please keep your negative comments to yourself.
  8. Hi and thank you all. I have decided on going with the DD1508. This is a great sub and should do just what i am wanting.
  9. Hi and thanks for all of the input. The woofer will be placed in a 2012 Mitsubishi Galant and I'm really not sure of the exact dimensions that I am willing to sacrifce. I could even go with a 10" if that would be more feasable.
  10. Thanks so which one would you suggest? I am somewhat new to this and have been told that it can be somewhat difficult trying to come up with a good ported box for the Sa.
  11. Hi. I am trying to install a small amp that will also supply some great Bass tones both deep and High and was wondering which one of these companies to use. I have heard alot of great things about both of them and they are. "Sundown Audio SA-8 V2 D4" Or "Digital designs DD1008". If anyone can help please let me know something and thank you.
  12. Thank You alot for the information on the Company and knowing that you use them all the time. This brings me some comfort in my purchase.
  13. Thank you very much for the reply and concern. The company that i am purchasing the amp through is suppose to be well established. Their name is "Woofersetc_outlet. Have you or anyone heard of them and if so are they reputable?
  14. I am wondering if anyone can tell me the pros and cons if any of the Sundown Audio SAZ1200D.1. I know that they make some awesome stereo equipment but I truly don't know anything at all about this amp. HELP,LOL.
  15. yes you are right and i am grateful to you for your input and advice. PPI has always been a great amp now and in the past at a reasonable price to. Do you know if their amps now are as under rated as they were in the past?
  16. Hi and Good Morning. I am trying to come up with an amp to power my Digital Designs 1008 sub. It has been rated at 500 continuous and 2000 peak. I was told to make sure to get an amp that will supply at least 500 watts rms but i am considering running two of the 1008's or two of the 1508's by Digital designs. I have heard many good things about both of these amps the Sundown Audio SAZ 1000D.1 and the Precision Power P1000.1. Can anybody give me some great advise here and thank You very much.
