what head unit do u have? why not just get a backup camera for it. Pioneer makes a really nice backup camera that hooks right up to the avic series of headunits and some of the DEH series. i would think that would be even better than HIDs for the rear, just my opinion tho. I see alot of vehicles with extremely dark tint. and the only thing i've seen really work is the backup camera

Recently got a new car and i'm going to have this one for a long time. So i'm looking for a nice headunit. I've been looking into the double din types e.g. the pioneer D3, or Z2. Or the panasonic Strada. or whatever. I'm leaning more towards the pioneers because i can get them for cheap. Or possibly a JVC only problem is the jvc doesn't have navigation like the rest. Any suggestions guys??

lol, its an easy mistake. I was interested tho i thought u might have been right. But i've only heard good things come out of those amps. I've heard that its the same board from the poweracoutik multiple times. But to be honest i've never had a problem from power acoustik either depending on the model. My boss "REALLY" wants me to promote some stuff from the store. which makes alot of sense cuz if i take someone outside and let them hear it and its awesome then i can't sell them the stuff. So now i'm trying to decide between a few things from the store.

I've been looking into the SoloX. probably the 10 or maybe the 12. with a planet audio RXD2400. Ur doing SQ and SQ is big to me so i wasn't looking very had at the X. Does is sound that good?? If it does sound good then i think i just decide what sub i'm going with.

defenitely can't wait until this is done. I've been looking more lately towards the multiple small woofers setups. And i've heard what those assassins can do.

Well my shop sells the RXD2400 for about $550. But i'm gonna get mine for 4 something. Just trying to figure out what the best subwoofer would be for what i'm trying to do.

-unit 6639 Dont buy that amp, from what I read RD is kind of a shady company. Please, do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere! What do u mean RD? what is that. The amp is made by planet audio, and the model is RXD2400 because its 2400 wrms at 1 ohm and "3000" peak.

for lack of a better description cuz i don't remember the model. I saw in your shop one day one of the big ones with the power and ground guess it was like 4ga running from the board out of the amp and it had to be about a foot and a half long. Do/Can u still make me one of those?? it was B stock and u said it would be the last one. Guess i'll just have to come by the shop and see what u got and what we can do.

So here is what i am currently looking at. haven't bought the amp yet but i probably will unless someone has a better idea. Planet Audio RXD2400 I'm open to suggestion on the amp as well. I drive a honda Fit. and i am putting a system in it. I have been living off of the philosophy less is more for quite sometime. But now i've decided to change things up a little. Being that i work in the car audio industry as a salesman i need a good system. One that sounds good because i listen to all types of music. and one thats loud because well if your sh**s not loud then for some reason you don't get any respect. So my goal is to get 1 10" sub and blow away these guys who think that having multiple 12s or 15s is neccessary. I've seen it done with 2 10s and 3000watts. These were atomic 10s in a custom ported box in a chevy silverado single cab. Anyway, so i'm looking to get 1 10 or if i have to 1 12 that will sound good when i'm in the car and when i have friends along, and that the fiance won't complain about. But if i wanted to compete or just show off or show up someone i could. So i've been looking around for awhile. That lead me to Fi.... I'm looking at the Fi BL 10 with some options and i must say i don't quite understand them all so if the flatwound voice coil could be explaind that would be great. If u don't suggest the BL or Fi for that matter any suggestions would be appreciated. If i wanted to stick with the stuff that my store sells i'd either get the Alpine type x 12 or a pioneer premier 3004. If u think that those would be good choices let me know, but if theres better then let me know that too. Also i was thinking ported even tho i know the sealed will probably sound better, my last 3 setups have been ported and i really liked them. albeit they were in a trunk of a car not in a hatch back.
