  1. here is some buld pics for an enclosure for a RF T212D4...built to RF's Powerfull Enclosure specks (2.25cf3 plus sub, port, corner displacement) and tuned at 32hz I hate MDF dust...had a lung infection from the stuff last spring so I don't take any chances anymore one of the little tweeks I have been working on.... it will all make sense in the end no 90* edges..all 45* and will be sanded perfectly smooth
  2. got the BPX 2200.1 and the GTO 75.4 inverted on the ceiling above the rear seats. now I got room for the 4 woofer enclosure and things are starting to look alot cleaner...when I strip the interior in the spring to Dynamat I will be replacing all the power wire and RCA's as well as adding a capacitor, digital distribution block and a second battery
  3. actually yes it does....I found time today to do some fine tunning...there is a time alignment adjustment for every RCA out... I set the automatic time alignment and also did a custom setting once again with each set on it's own and with both and even played with the auto eq.... so far I'm really liking this head unit
  4. I took out the plastic tool box thingy behind the rear seats of the Quad Cab... not much room and the rear wall has a channel brace and tie down loops... :? remove the tie down loops... space is an issuue but he wants this system to pound....he will probably be running ab out 2400w rms a little test fit.... the rear seats will be getting custom brackets...they will be shifted forward and up.... there will be a 4" PVC port coming out each end of the enclosure down low by the floor
  5. when Hart Proffessional was still a good company they had a 5 1/4" sub that was an awsome little woofer but they have since sold out and turned their products into crap.... other than that I have not seen any other actuall sub woofers that small
  6. amps both mounted on a rack.. this is where they will stay till I fab up the inverted rack for the ceiling
  7. the Crown amps are true current servo amp the sound is very tight and detailed by far the best SQ sub amplification I have owned
  8. this is the largest possible enclosure I can make and still be able to take it in and out..I had to router the edges of the bottom pannel on these enclosures to get them to fit into the trunk it hits really good with the 30hz box... when I build the box for all 4 woofers I will be tunning it down at about 27hz
  9. so I tried the 32hz tunning for a while... I liked the tightness and high impact of the enclosure tunned at 30hz... so the seperate cavity enclosure is up for grabs... I am building another seperate chamber tunned at 30hz I moved the BPX 2200.1 off the floor and put it on a simple amp rack in front of the enclosure for now...once the snow goes away and it warms up I'll strip the interior to build the ceiling amp rack and dynamat everything it looks more like a surf board than an amp
  10. the old box was a common chamber with 1.6cf3 per sub plus sub and port dissplacement tunned at 30hz the new box is 1.60cf3 per sub plus sub and port dissplacement (seperate chambers) and tunned at 32hz...
  11. you got me there.....my last system had a clock radio in each corner and one on the middle of the dash for the center channel , the sub box had a pink elephant rotating behind glass I have since upgrade....
  12. I guess the last 23 years of car audio has put my ears out of phase... seriously...it sounds really good...by far the best sounding components I have ever heard in a car..regardless of the tweeter configuration like I said earlier..I tried one set of tweets and both sets many different ways and this way sounded best
  13. the tweeter configuration is different...I tried one tweet in the doors..one on the pillar, both in the pillar, both in the doors exc... and I ended up with this configuration.... with the use of the wave guides and the way they are placed the imaging is extreamly good....
  14. I have been working on my new system ....it is not complete yet I still have to move the amps to their new location inverted on the ceiling above the rear seat area..new vinyl on the front and rear doors and the rear deck/back seat area still need to be done but this is what I got done so far this enclosure will take place of the common chamber when it is done....
