im looking to buy 2 new batteries for the back of my truck. ill be runnin a 225 amp alt with the IA40.1 and a 4 channel alpine 4x90w.. im leanin toward the powermaster d2400's.. the 2 other batteries on my list would be the Xstatic Batcap model 2000 or the Deka Intimidator Battery - 9A31 opinions please..?

i seriously doubt the sx's could handle that ,, they would pop......... how bout 2 12's HDC3's or 4 10's HDC3's or stick with 2 BL 15's?

yes each.. im lookin for 2 15's to run off of a IA40.1 but i only have around $300 to $350 to spend on each sub

can the BL's handle 1500 to 1800 watts rms for daily use?

would just one IA40.1 be enuff to push 2 btl's?

well i was thinkin of 2 HDC3 15's but there out of stock till the end of february.. so i was lookin into the BL 15's,, the only othe subs i was lookin into are 2 of the HCCA 12" subs or 2 12" re mt's but im not sure if they would provide more bass than the 15's. or should i wait for the new HDC3 15's to come out?

im lookin for the setup that would give me a higher DB for a daily driver,, either 2 15" BL's or one 18" BTL,, i have plenty of power and room for either one. thanx

well thanx guys for all the help, i kno ive been a pain but i hardly ever have $1000 or more dollars to spend on anything, havin 4 kids and all, they take up most my money, so ill be gettin the saz 1500 and the 18" bl and with the the couple extra hundred i saved i will put into havin sum one build me a box. then over the weeks i will get my odds and ends, and should be able to install by the spring time. just a couple quick questions im gettin the cooling ,,ill get flatwind too if it will help and will the universal option hurt the speakers performance at all cuz i really dont plan on ever changin the set up. thanx again

well the room basically is not a factor i have the 3rd row seat taken out of my suv, i plan on havin sumone who knows what they r doing to build me a box. so if its set up right the 18 will hit louder?

well if i go with the sundown amp and a BL and i had enuff room in my ride and have sum one build me a ported box to match the sub, would the 15 or the 18 it a higher DB?

yes everything im buying for my new setup will be new ,, nothin wrong with used but its just what i prefer i guess , i think i will be going with the kicker , my 4 channel for my highs is kicker so least they will match up. as for the sub i dont want to spend over $500, so the btl does look like what ill be leanin toward

well i wasnt really trying to compare them , just wanted the one that would produce more watts, i can get the saz1500 for 600 and the kicker2500 for 700 so i thought for 1000 watts more for only $100 more was a pretty good deal, and $700 would be the most i can spend on an amp for me to be able to get the other things i need

well one puts out 2500 and one puts out 1500 why couldnt i compare the power ,sorry im just trying to understand

well let me decide on the amp first then before i get into the sub, which one would put out more power? im guessin the kicker. but if im wrong let me know. and wouldnt they need about the same electrical upgrades?

well the room is not a factor i have a durango with the 3rd row seat removed. thaz why i was favoring an 18 cuz i have the room and i have never owned one before. i will be purchasing either the saz1500d or the kicker 2500, which ever one i can get more power out of., , so with enufff room in the right box could i get the 18 to hit louder on one of those amps?

why would a 15 be better than an 18?

sorry but thats basically my budget on an amp , ill worry bout the sub or subs after i get the amp even if its not a btl. so basically if i was lookin for power would these 2, the kicker 06ZX2500.1 or the SAZ 1500D be better than the others i listed?

just to let you guys know which way im headin with this, i will be gettin one of these amps, i will be buying new, i dont want used. here are my amp options Rockford Fosgate Power T1500-1bd Kicker SX1250.1 MTX Audio TE1501D Memphis 16-MCD1500 JL Audio 1000/1 Kicker 06ZX2500.1 SAZ 1500D im lookin for more power than SQ really, but i still like it to be some what clear so the JL would probably be out. not lookin for spl but i still want something thats gonna pound, the only electrical upgrades i really wanna do are maybe 1 extra battery a cap and a new alternator, but know more than that. i already have a 4 channel amp on my highs, so i would be runnin it and one sub amp. any suggestions?

well be fore i go any further lemme get help on an amp, is any of the maxxonics amps worth buying like an autotek mm2000.1, hifonics 2600 or a crunch 3000? or should i stay away from those?

im still decidin on an amp,, soon as i figure out if the auto tek or hifonics or crunch amps are any good id be pushin bout 2500 to 3000 watts rms but if they aint any good imma go with a good name brand but then i would only be pushin bout 1500 to 2000 watts rms. ive got alpine spx 17refs for my front components and an amp for those i either want one 18" or one 15" i prefer more bass than SQ only cuz i hardly get to listen and when i do i want it to pound but not over power my components where i dont hear them

im lookin for one 18" sub, ive got plenty of power to push either the BTL or BL, so power isnt an issue, im lookin for a daily sub thats good for rock or rap, would the daily BTL be alright for pounding for bout 10 to 15 mins cuz i usually only listen to music on my way to work or on my way home, other than that im stuck at the house, or should i stick with the BL?
