Box Build: ~2.5 cubes sealed for a pair of 12" Fi Q's
- I'm looking to buy a box
We can definitely build something like that for you. What I would need you to do, is take some max dimensions (largest you can fit INTO the trunk opening), and get with my designer, Chris (at) fishercustoms (dot) com. If you have any other questions, just let me know.- Box Build for MikeMartin
Not a problem Mike, Ill get you some pics today of it.- Box Build for MikeMartin
I have rolled on some textured paint before, it looked very cool. Got it from Wal-Mart, but I dont recall the name of it or anything. Ill see if I can find it for you though.- Project Land Rover
Little change of plans on the bracing. Tried painting it yesterday... and it didnt come out to my liking. So I will be ordering a vinyl decal instead.- Box Build for MikeMartin
Thanks Mike. It will be going out Tuesday for you. The technique sure makes it very easy to carpet.- 4.0 @ 32 hz- Pair of 12" Fi Bl's
Best way to get a perfect double baffle- 4.0 @ 32 hz- Pair of 12" Fi Bl's
Center located port, double baffle on the front. Pretty straight forward. Customer wants white port and black carpet. Should look nice when complete.- Project Land Rover
wow Yea... gonna be anywhere around Kansas this weekend? Haha. On this enclosure, I got some more paint touched up. All that is left for paint, is to do the "Land Rover" on the bracing. Im going to try to do that tomorrow morning, before I go out of town for the day. Otherwise, Sunday it is. actually nope. Let me know if you need anymore info on the design though Well crap, lol. Oh well I guess.... I think you got good enough info on the design. But I will definitely let you know.- Box Build: ~2.5 cubes sealed for a pair of 12" Fi Q's
Not sure if those are the exact specs, just going by memory on this one. Pretty straight forward box here, with a 8* angle on the front panel. Will be finished off with carpet.- Box Build for MikeMartin
This is a 3.0 @ 32 hz enclosure for a single 15" Fi BL. Crx style, with a double baffle. The box will be left bare. All that is left to do, is sand it up, and the badge and terminals, and then get it ready for ship.- Project Land Rover

Sure did. Responding now for you.- Box Build for Bose301s
Great to hear you like it so far. Definitely post some pics when you can.- Project Land Rover
I hope to have a BIG weekend in the shop. Finally get some days off of work. About time, right? Im only 12 enclosures beind...- Fibre on box
I dont have any experience with Carbon Fiber. However, fiberglass applied properly will stick well to MDF.- Box Build for Bose301s
There was a small mis-communication, and I had to rebuild this box to put the cutout on a different panel. I didnt take step by step pics, but here is the finished product...- best materials need to build sub box
Jasper jigs are definitely a great tool to have. Rusty, as long as you are using Baltic Birch, that is a good product to use for enclosures also. I would steer clear on regular 7 ply veneer core birch though. Overall, I would say the box looks pretty good. Especially for a first attempt. Only suggestion I would make, is a few more screws on the top panel (and I would assume the bottom as well, but cant see) where you fasten the front and back to the top. That make sense?- Project Land Rover
This is definitely priority on the current work orders. Got a little more done today. Got all panels masked off and painted red. Also, started painting on the center bracing. No pics, but when assembly gets going, you will get the idea As for cecaa850 and MikeMartin, your two boxes are next I believe. Im really looking forward to the 3 day weekend coming up. Hopefully I wont have to work (crosses fingers*) and I can get a LOT done.- Project Land Rover
Finally got the compressor fixed, so now I can spend my free time building boxes again!- best materials need to build sub box
I like to use Trupan, lightweight MDF. Titebond II and some good 1 5/8" deck screws. Sheetrock screws work also.- Project Land Rover
Too much work.... Got too many boxes to build. Boeing will hopefully go on strike the beginning of next month when their contract is up. We will most likely go to 3 day work weeks. That would give me time to catch up on orders.- Project Land Rover
Awesome man. It might be a couple days before I get back to the shop. 12 hr shifts FTL.- Project Land Rover
So.... you like it then? LOL - I'm looking to buy a box
