  1. Designs are now able to be purchased directly through FisherCustoms.com/store for $12 a piece. Between Chris and I, we are updating the store with the majority of the designs he has done over the years (and its more than just a few). This will take a lot of time to get everything up and running, but I feel, when its all said and done, can be very beneficial to the customer. The enclosure designs range anywhere from a simple sealed box, to flared port boxes with plexiglass windows, and beyond. Each design is displayed a simple, easy to view and understand format (SketchUp). All the layouts are pretty straight forward. The customer can find a design that will fit their needs, and just purchase the plans. This will mainly benefit the customer looking to build their own enclosure, and will reassure them that they are getting an accurate box design. However, they can also have Fisher Customs do the fabrication. The benefit to purchasing the plans this way will cut down on design time, as well as save a little money. Of course, Chris will still tackle any other custom designs, for the $25 design fee. I only have a few up so far, but check it out, and give us a little feedback. It sure will be appreciated. Thanks guys, B.J. Fisher
  2. Thanks guys. Standard price on 5 cubes runs $230 shipped with carpet. Extra options are available.
  3. Got an enclosure for a single 18" Fi BL. 5 cubes @ 30 hz. Also, the customer wanted a plexiglass window installed on the front panel, and the driver top firing. Onto the pics...
  4. Definitely! It will be shipping out Monday morning. Ill get you the tracking info sometime this weekend.
  5. Thanks fellas.
  6. Definitely worth the extra cost to me. Plus, the customers like the weight savings with it. Just got home, and have the info comparing BB and Trupan. BB is 2.19 lbs per square foot, and Trupan is 2.25. Guess it is closer than I though.
  7. This one is mostly done. Just a few little things to finish up, and it will be out the door.
  8. Finished this up the other day. Need to get all the paperwork taken care of... its heading way up North.
  9. The supplier I use, is less than double the cost of regular MDF. I pay right around $38 per sheet. As mentioned, not only lighter, but cuts and routes much easier. As for weight, it is right on par with Baltic Birch. I dont have the numbers will be right now, but IIRC Tupan is about .2 (two tenths) lbs heavier than Baltic Birch. So nearly the same weight.
  10. I havent seen the final design pics of this one yet, but I think I have an idea of whats going on. Should be very, very sweet. Going to be doing something I have never done before with this one. Ill definitly get some pics of the design up once I get it, and a build log will be up for sure.
  11. We can bend the ports with 90* angles if needed. Best bet, is to contact on of my designers, Chris (at) fishercustoms(dot)com
  12. You might need to go a little larger than that. With those dims, we have 2.15 cubes before any displacement. After sub displacement you will be around 2 cubes. I would say you would be fine with a pair of 4" aeros.
  13. The largest outter dims are: 25.5 wide 14 tall around 21 deep Let me know if you need more info.
  14. You would be looking at $155 shipped for that enclosure with single baffle. If you need anything else, let me know. Thanks, B.J.
  15. Looking real good man. More pics as you get everything finished up.
  16. There ya go Dustin Thanks Trevor.
  17. Thanks guys. Dustin, I cant really comment on the side firing port. I dont recall ever doing one like this before. So I will be anxious to get some feedback from the customer.
  18. Customer preference I believe.
  19. Good to hear nothing major was messed up. For the most part, I have had pretty good luck with DHL. Prices are good compared to UPS, transit times are fast. But ocassionally, due to all the large packages I ship out, one gets dinged up a little.
  20. This box will be orientated a little differently than normal in his trunk. Port will be firing sideways.
  21. I'm glad I am not the only one burried underneath orders.. once the ICONS are in stock I'll have the same problem of climbing orders I have noticed you have been very busy as well. But I guess it is better this way.... than the other.
  22. Haha. Good stuff...
  23. To cut the carpet to the size I need, I just use a regular scissors. But to trim up everything (sides, around the port, sub cutouts etc.) I use a single edge razor blade. Got them from Harbor Freight, I think it was a 100 pack for $5. Just use for one box, and throw away. Cuts very easy if you have a sharp blade.
  24. Here is the box pretty much ready for carpet.
