  1. Finally back in the shop doing some boxes here and there. Here is my first build in over 6 months... Waiting on final specs from Dylan, but its for a quartet of 10" Fi Q's. Also will feature a plexi window with some engraving on it. Here are some pics of the build.
  2. Yes I do. They are based on a box to box basis due to size, design, and shipping costs.
  3. Port is 3.5 x 14.5. Box is nearly 1.5 years old now... haha, cant dig up much more info than that.

I have not done TONS of research on this topic, however I understand that MDF is relativiely high in Formaldhyde. It is used in the glues to make the product. Trupan, is supposed to be free of this apparently. However, when cutting or routing wood, a respirator should ALWAYS be used. Chemicals or not, fine dust is harmful to breathe in. I get Trupan at a local lumberyard. Check around, they should be able to order it in for you if they do not stock it.
  5. I have done a handful of mustang boxes. What years have that same body style as yours? Search my builds, and you will find some that I have done. Let me know what else I can help you with.
  6. Thanks guys. Looking forward to getting back in the shop. Hopefully have things running full steam again in the next month or so.
  7. Yes, Im still alive! I have another announcement to make. Due, to my schedule finally slowing a little bit, thanks to the coming of cold weather, it looks like I will be in the shop again real soon. I havent been around much at all lately, but have noticed a lot of the same guys around, so thats good. Looking forward to being part of the community again!
  8. Due to some crazy hours at work lately (and not looking to slow down anytime real soon), I have made the decision that I will no longer be building enclosures for an undetermined amount of time. It has been a very, very tough decision to make, but I feel it is necessary for my customers as well as FC as a whole. I do not get to spend nearly as much time on my computer at home these days, so emails sit in my inbox. When I do have time to answer emails, it is taking away time from the shop, and time is very limited right now. Customer service is just as important to me as the quality of the final product, so I feel the only way to fairly treat my customers is by shutting down temporarily. This will not be the end of FC, just a pause until I get some more free time back on my hands. I hope everyone understands, and like I said, this was NOT an easy decision to make. If you guys could help me out, if you read anything on other boards and such about "where have we been?" etc, let them know about this. I dont want anyone to think we are ignoring emails and that sort of thing, but I will rarely be checking my account during this break. Even though the shop is closed, Dylan will still be offering the design service. You will need to contact him directly at Dylan @ FisherCustoms (dot) com. He will get you taken care of. If anyone has any questions, please post here and I will address them when possible. FC will be back! Thanks fellas!
  9. not necessarily.....you tell them what options you want for the subs....fisher builds the box and sends it to you and fi sends you your subs. or they could just have the option of fully loaded or "stock"....there are lots of ways they could do it. the icon loaded enclsosure isnt "loaded" when it gets to your door. they are shipped seperately. so it would work the exact same way. There is actually a couple different ways to attack something like this. I have a few ideas in mind...
  10. What do you mean?
  11. Wouldnt it?
  12. I would love to team up with the fellas at Fi, but unfortunately, I am not able to offer any package deals. Maybe sometime in the future
  13. Boxes that size are priced on a box to box basis. Ill need to see a design, and get some shipping info to get you a quote on everything. Shoot me an email if you are interested.
  14. Not a problem, just hit us up if you want to.
  15. Here is the final product...
  16. Got it carpeted yesterday, but didnt have my camera on me. Ill try to snap some quick pics tonight of it. Cutting the plexi tonight as well, and have an appointment to get it CNC'ed tomorrow afternoon.
  17. Making me go way back for this one I think its 46 wide 20 3/4 deep 18 1/4 tall haha sorry but thanx. pretty sure thats too wide for me. dam. Not a problem at all. If you need to get it re-designed to fit your dimensions, just let us know.
  18. I think he has been out of town a lot lately, that could be why...
  19. Table saw all the way. Much better than a circ saw.
  20. Nope, not much sanding at all actually.
  21. If I remember Ill get some pics next time I use them. But, they are just standard 4" 90* PVC elbows.
  22. Of course http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...showtopic=26803
  23. Down the center. In this case, the center length of the elbows was 10" IIRC.
