Well i sent in my money order for a Q10 a week ago friday stating that i would like dual 2ohm coils, well, things changed a little so i e-mailed Fi and asked if my order could be changed to dual 1ohm coils... No answer and i sent the e-mail sunday morning. I don't really want to send another e-mail because i know they are really busy, but... i need to know if my order was changed or not... Any ideas? Or if one of the Fi guys read this, the e-mail is: [email protected] Thanks, and sorry for the semi-useless thread.
  2. Do you guys have any used SAE-1000Ds laying around?
  3. I'm aware that hifonics is kinda sketchy. I was looking at the BXi 1206D. It claims 1200rms, so i was thinking somewhere in the 900~1000 range, which sould complement the Q nicley right? Will i still get fairly clean bass with this? I have considered two eights. The only problem is i wanted to do a downfireing built and with two eights, the box would become wider than what i wanted (I would lose the function of my jumpseats.)
  4. Alright, I have a Chevy s10 extended cab, my friend has a Ford ranger ext cab with one audiobhan 15'', sealed box with 400 rockford watts going to it. Its acually a pretty chitty sub, but it gets the job done, right. So my question is, how can a put one 10'' in my truck to have a better "system" than his. I don't really need to be that much louder than him, but I want it to sound GOOD. really low and tight if possible from a 10. Im not gunna say a sq sub because I really don't know what that would mean. I have looked at the Fi Q10 with a Hifonics amp. Would this do it? Or could I go a little smaller with something like a Soundspliter or AA? The box would be custom built by me. It has to be 1ft^3 or less because of space restrictions. Probably sealed as i dont really now how to built a ported box. A classic Chevy vs. Ford battle! Thanks for you input.
  5. Well that is good to hear! A couple more questions, will one 10'' fi be louder than my friends to 12'' kenwoods? I am sure that it will sound better, but i kinda what to be louder than him. Also, what is "BP power" when selecting options for a sub?
  6. So I am starting to plan out my first system and have done some research and found fi. Looks like really nice stuff. I am looking at putting a Q10 in my 95' s10 extended cab. Probably in a sealed box after reading other news about the q series. how big do you think this should be? I thinking about pairing it with a sundown amp but was wondering if there was anything comparable for a little less cash. Also, how much upgrading will i have to do to my electrical system? Big three is going to happen soon, but what about a yellow top battery or anything like that? Thanks a lot.
