What would you consider that price point?Keep in mind I am a huge fan of Cutco, and Wustoff (spelling??) in the past. I won't be buying them for a few years unless something odd changes. I still hate that buying is cheaper than renting down here, J Wustof. I dated a girl whose mom was the head of sales at the time, i believe she was promoted since then but she gave me a 17cm knife... LOVE that knife. That is a garlic knife. Nearly useless size...With a little skill you can use a 28-30cm knife for the same tasks. For what i, and her husband (a gourmet chef) use that size knife for, it's more that enough of a knife to cut what we (usually) make. Seems pretty presumptuous to assume we are carving turkeys or slicing a ham with that tool. Thats just the knife we feel most comfortable using for most of our projects.

I don't think you can go wrong with either. But I vote mayhem in this illegal thread. No vs threads.

It means it wont perform like it use to. If you send it in to get reconed try to get the new ts parameters or else you will not be able to make a proper box for said transducer.

If focal can't help then it looks like your going to have a frankenwoofer (hybrid speaker). Some companies like PSI might be able to help you out but it won't be the same as directly from focal.

Godsmach, have you heard a smd v1 or 2, or have you owned one?

Short answer, no. If you have some dimensions to work with, im sure someone can do some modeling to show you how they will all perform in that specific box. What kind of respinse are you wanting to achieve, and at what db level?

I have never used Spotify, but used to use Playlist.com all the time. It recently was bought and shut down I believe. It depends on the music, pandora for rock, bluegrass. Spotify for techno, rap, and reggae.
