  1. where do you live bud? Also like I said, hit me up tommorrow, I might be able to help you out on amps, and not have you spend $2000 on amps for big power. Just trying to do what I can to help those that help us and support us. But for now its late, and I have to get up in a couple hours. Good night all.
  2. bassbumper, send me an email at [email protected] and I will send you the file with the Fi logo, and you can take it to any sign or vinyl shop, and they can make it any size or color you want.
  3. or buy my last 4 BTL's and do 4 Kicker 2500's or a pair of RF 4000's
  4. hey you can always get an avalanche like I have, it already has the cover and a 21"x50" cuthrough built in!

  7. hey bud, if you figure out what amp you want to run, I can help you figure out what coils your will need. The coil configuration you need, will depend on the amps you choose. Just let me know bud. Shawn Fi Car Audio Tech
  8. for everyone that doesnt know me, I do R and D, and Tech Support for Fi Car Audio. Im based just out of Gainesville , FL, I have been competing since 99, 2000 was my first year making Db Drag world finals, and our team took 3rd in SS 5-8, and it went down hill, errr I mean got better from there. Bassrace is my new passion, I have built a ton of big bassracers over the past few years, as many of you have seen the transformations that I have done in pipos truck over the past few years. I currently have 8 BTL 15's with 8 Kicker 2500d's, 3 Kicker 350.2's, 16 Kinetik 2400's, 6pr of Kicker RS 652's, a pretty teal 97 astro, with xenon body kit, 20" Rozzi wheels, Dunlop SP9000 255/35/20's, all kicker hyperflex wiring, fuses, rca's, viper 791xv alarm, rallisport black leather racing seats, Clarion 845MC headunit, factory alt (until my powermasters come in), and Second Skin Damplifier Pro Sounddeadener. Im not too much concerned on the numbers the van does, b/c Im tuned SSSSSSSOOOOOO low, as long as its mid 150's, but yet I can do like in daytona, and bring it around to my pitstall, open the doors and hammer down for 30 mins at a time demoing any music anybody wants to hear. The van is tuned at 32.5 hz, so it will reproduce just about anything any CD has on it, with no risk of anything break b/c going too far below tuning, or sounding bad. Joe its good to talk to you too bud, and Im glad I could help you out with your decision. If you ever need anything like I told you, dont hesitate to ask.
  9. For burps you will be fine with that power, considering the crossfires were pretty clean, the last time I used them. Thats the key to going over the RMS ratings of the subs, keeping it clean.
  10. Them Things are MOVING!!! Shawn you have 8 15 BTL's right? Do you have any left and what's next? Thanks in advance ~ Joe Rod I have 5 of the BTL's left for sale. I also have 4 sets of the Kicker rs652's. Both these and the BTL's were only used for SBN. As for whats next, we will see.
  11. Damn, I hadnt see that video. Yeah thats my van.
  12. I had it for a saturday and a sunday. He got here from Jax about noon on saturday, and he drove home sunday right after dark.

  15. a trim peice for over the plexi, so he can put bags in there without scratching it and some night shots
  16. now a little amp trim panel work And now in the car with the plexi
  17. now for the subs. They are custom RE SX 12's with a nice coil and spider setup that scott did up for me. I got blank dustcaps for this install, b/c we were going for this OEM look, and I had a little something color matched from the car, for the dustcaps.
  18. time to start on the sub box sub box in the car
  19. factory speaker new alpine's loaded in the rear door panels and ready to go Rear batt wired wires run for the 2 amps, along with the plate I bult and carpeted for the amps to sit on, so they sit up higher and level
  20. headunit going in So nice to have the battery under the rear seat. Now to add a couple things to the batt.
  21. Here is an install I did a few months back for a buddy of mine from Jax. Its an 01 Sedan Deville. The main thing was it had to look stock up front, no glassed door panels, kick pods, ect, b/c he takes clients out, and he had to still conserve alot of trunk room, for he travels alot in this vehicle. On the enclosure, I did build a trim panel, to clean up the box to the vehicle, but it restricted WAY too much bass coming into the car, the rear seat and rear deck are built like tanks in these vehicles. List of Equipment: Pioneer Avic-N3 Alpine Type R 6.5 comps Alpine Type R 5.25 coax Hifonics BXI 2006D Hifonics ZXI 6006 Mega Crank AGM built by Deka Kicker and Stinger Wiring Now for some pics: Here are some of the car
