I dont know if I have talked to you since after the wedding, congrats and thanks for the invitation brother, I just already had obligations to another buddies wedding for that same day. How is that testing of that certain other thing going!

I am really close friends with Tommy, Pipo(hell I built his truck 3 times), Frankie, Lil John, Step, ect, but tommy hasnt done a 160 yet in bassrace, no one in FL has YET, and yet being the key word, I can almost guarantee someone from FL will do it at world finals. There have been only 2 ppl in the world that have bassraced, at a show, over a 160, that is bob perillo with his ss 5+ van, and an extreme car from Finland I believe.

We pulled the XXX 15's out of my dad's explorer, swapped to Q15's with BP Power, and I first he didnt like the Q's, but then once they broke in(took a few weeks), he loved the Q's, louder and had better overall sq to him than the XXX's. Each one has a modded MTX 1501d. Old New With that much power though, and single sub, you would definately have to do a fully loaded BTL for daily. The BTL's get

I havent had time to work on it, It is exactly the same as the last set of shows I went to: Fully loaded BTL's, Kicker 2500's, I still have to do the trim panels around the box, strengthen and brace the roof, strengthen the doors, build the fiberglass door panels, get my powermaster alts installed, make an alt bracket(sucks to be on the stock alternator) ect ect. There is still a ton of work to do on it. Also brother, congrats on the win at NSPL, you made us proud, I know there is more in the van, we just have to tap into it!

With my Kicker 8ga, I just trimmed some back, twisted, and put it in the hole.

Are these the "new" poly mids or the older model? I would kill to get my hands on eight of them for a HT surround setup. These are older models that I have had sitting here. I was using the Kicker RS comps, like when you saw the van in Daytona, Lucas, and they sounded real nice, but just couldnt keep up, especially when the doors were shut, and I was making a bassrace run, they were ok when the doors were open for demo's. At that time I was also running 4 Kicker 350.2's, now stepping up in power to the 3 kicker 850.4's. The mids and tweets will love the new found power

I will be starting on the doors for the van in the next couple weeks guys, I will take detailed pics. 8 Carbon Fiber Poly Mids and 8 "Custom" Tweets per door. Running off 6 Kicker 850.4's, actively of course. Now I just hope it keeps up slightly with the subs. (for those that dont know, I have 8 Fully Loaded BTL's and 8 Kicker 2500.1's)

Also on the BL's, P chamfer is including in the cooling package. So no need to buy both!

on the SSD's the SSD's will sound good with a 500/1 but can definately take much more power. You cant add flatwind and copper, and honestly with the power I wouldnt do either coil, I would just get the standard SSD's, unless at some point you plan on adding much more power. The Copper coil option with more power will give you a little bit better SQ than the standard or flatwind. The only reason to use the flatwind would be in applications for over 800 watts RMS per subwoofer.
