Rotary's were reliable as logn as you took care of them and didnt try to redline one alot that had over 50k miles on it .

L:ike denim had stated a orion 1200D should be plenty and work well you can always buy a secodn down the road and link them up for 2 ohm on two subs if needed.

Someone on termpro had said that the Merlin series wasnt a Dirk original but I never asked but im sure it is just various parts from korea to save on cost to make it a great bang for the buck.

I beleive it makes 1040 rms bridge at 4 ohms if im not mistaken . I called Us amps a while back about the specs on it b/c I seen the same guy sellign that amp for 300$ but my memory isnt so hot right now lol .

I've heard very good things about the GTI's.

Both are great subs but I prefer the Mag but thats just my opinion and this was an older mag the new one's are suppose to be better .

Dom seemed to give me a great price quote on a alt for my old truck but I have a feeling my new one is gonan rip out my kidney. My old truck was quoted for 300$ + shipping for a 300 amp alt that did 150 amps at idle IIRC but it was fora 85 chevy silverado .My new truck is a 2005 chevy silverado z71 if im not mistaken it has a sensor plug on the alt that is gonna bone me over.

My friend had a 650.1 BB series no sort of pop but the internal fan we had to replace b/c it went bad making very loud humming on the turn on.

They work jsut fine such a small peice of material for such a short distance could supply a large amount of current .

I suppose they are jsut tryign to appeal to newbs to convince them of such awesome deals which im sure they cater to a certain crowd but for their prices I can still get things way cheaper.

Very beauty of a sub that LMT technology is very nice from what I've read. Those subs look like a beast

Hope the subs maintain the same great SQ as before and as far as the dsut cap i think I prefer more of a reversed still so its kina more of like a seemless bowl. But thats my opinion on looks , keep up the great work Nick .

Personally from what I've seen over time from Mag and XXX and other brands I think the mag is the best overall value and one of the best performers.
