  1. So what I gathered from your post is that you would like to replace the current woofer from your HTIB with something that is louder, but still use the same enclosure? You would have a lot easier time getting what you want if you could tell us your room size and budget. Also, a house sub stage is not as easy to get as loud as a car. i dont have the Blueprints, but it is about 20x15 plus, this thing is beastly already i just want to throw a Snitchin house party with it lol
  2. i am really confused as to whether that was sarcasm or not, so lets just say itz a regular 7 ft door way
  3. I think it sounds like a fire in the making. i certainly hope not....
  4. budget of about hmm...200$ to start at least. an i really have to use same enclosure, or at least get a cube with a silver port and black laminate finish or parents would kill me....it's theirs really...
  5. well, i have the manual sitting on my desk now, and it says 320w peak....but i am leaning towards the assumption that 160 is pretty high for its rms, having heard it bump
  6. hiya people i am looking for an 8" woofer that will go into the box of the woofer that came with the samsung HT-Q80 surround system. something that hits, that makes people say 'Damn!! it's only an 8"!!' lookin at a JL because i am not really aquainted with home audio, leaning towards car audio as a career in fact....but if you know bttr, higher excursion, lower ohm-ed 8" woofers that will really put out, gimme a heads up....thanks here is the woofer w/ system. btw, at least 200w rms please and thank you!! http://shopper.cnet.com/home-theater-syste...ml?tag=srch_1_1 7"W x 16"H x 13-3/8"D
  7. omg you arent kidding.....*face turns red* i feel like a dip...
  8. derr I left that part out Yeah that would help you will prbably find me strange for this, but i will have the box in my room. a requirement i left out was it has to be able to fit through a door way. i am using the visonik drivers from this box: http://www.millionbuy.com/visvb212pkw.html same amp too, if that matters
  9. i have one vice, that is spl... i cant stand soft bass it has to really hit so of course i just put gain at 8v and vol on pc at max and at that point, it isnt the amp's fault, it is the amount of amperage i have going to it. (one 4 amp box and three 1 amp plugs) when my bro (big into audio) tells me i need upwards of 250 amps. i tested this with my friends dad's car batt. and well, it works but MY dad is so paranoid about acid and the floor, that he says it has to be a power supply or no go. so thats my problem. hope that isnt TOO confusing lemme know whatcha think
  10. yes i have a budget, around $150
  11. well to start off, i have two 12's bumpin off a 2 chan. 350w visonik amp @ 4ohms i know it isnt much, but in order to get the 800w mtx i am lookin at i need something that wont clip out at medium power... please help me out here i need something to bump with til i can get a car (only 2 years!!)
