  2. is this guy hard headed or what???, i think you better listen to the pros man, im just gettin into car audio at 17 years young, i know to NEVER buy amps like that. but i would go for a sundown sae-1000d, but JimJ also recommended some great amps
  3. wow, srry about your loss, hope you and ur family are holdin up well, you and ur family are in my prayers
  4. the pchamfer and flatwind coil adds power handling to the sub, so if you get the sub loaded, it will take imo 1500-1800 watts depending on application (SPL or Daily) And like shizzon said, you wont be able to tell the differnece between the 2 amps if you swaped them because going from 1000-1500 watts is a slim differnce, you MUST have amazing hearing to notice a differnece
  5. this is goin to be sick build
  6. i like the EQ, time alignment, X-over, SRS circle surround II, 3 pairs of 8V preamps, 6-pattern illumination, ipod ready, full color display basiclly all of features all of this means excellent sound quality if setup correctly
  7. i like the EQ, time alignment, X-over, SRS circle surround II, 3 pairs of 8V preamps, 6-pattern illumination, ipod ready, full color display basiclly all of features

  15. ive been intrested in a in dash multimeadia player and i came across these, i dont feel like spending 800+ on an alpine or pioneer, so i thought these should be just fine..right? anyway, i narrowed it down to these 2 and it got average reviews from circuitcity and crutchfeild, but i cant really tell what the difference between the 2 besides the fact the vm9512 has 5 more watts rms....any help?? thanks ~ROB~ http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/Ite...M9412&tp=75 http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/Ite...M9512&tp=75
  16. u talkin about the VFL subs or the amp? srry for the miss understanding
  17. anyone else, thanks again for the info guys
  18. well ive ran vfl's, xd's for the last 4 yrs, and for 1. they are rated at 3000@[email protected]'s, not 13.8... they are very very good solid amps, and powerhouses to say the least... you can email Bob @ the above email address, but i hope your pockets are not too shallow... my best opinion if they are, look for a used one... but they are well worth the money.. they are also .5ohm stable ALL day long, and i have also ran a 1/4 ohm load for a day "with decent play time" and it took it, no popped fuses, got a little warm and everything, but it took it.. I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO RUN THAT LOW DAILY, but for burps they can take it no problem... JUST HAVE THE ELECTRICAL TO BACK THEM UP..... but they will eat .5ohm ALL day long.. i ran mine daily at that for 8 months straight with NO problems.... i highly recommend the vfl line... also they will accept up to 18v... hope any of this has helped you out.... like i said i have a lot of PERSONAL experience with that EXACT amp...... o my bad, i just saw it on realmofexcursion's amp guts and it said the the VFL 200.1 is 13.8, but im goin to go with what say thanks for the info man
  19. Is the VFL 200.1 a good amp, andyone have any experience with it?
  20. a frind of mine has that amp, its great, he had it for about 1 1/2 it runs perfectly. there beasts
  21. ive made posts before about a kicker 2500.1, mtx ta92001 and hifonics xxv amps, but im not sold on them. For a while ive been trying to put together a setup and i think i got it. probably going to go with 2 15" BLs. And ive seen an american bass VFL 200.1 rated 3000 watts @13.8 volts, so I was like sweet, and i would like to know how much this amp runs for (price).and ill have all new electrical to back this amp up. Thanks ~ROB~
