  1. Muchas gracias!
  2. Hey guys. Can I wire two D1's (Fi SSD's) to a final ohm load of 1? If not what are my options w/ the D1's? I know I can get a .5 (bad) or 2 (ok) w/ two D2's... Thanks
  3. It'll be great man. Good choice of sub and amp!
  4. Sweet man! Love da install, and looks like it does it's job too. Gotta ask, what is that first song (labeled skinnypimp)?
  5. Thanks. Yeah making the port like that is real easy, and I like the way it looks as well. Yeah. Fit PERFECT. Designing the box w/ sub up and port to the side, I can fit up to 8.5 gross... So much easier than all of my previous boxes. It slides in with NO probs at all. The sub did not work the day I built the box you can look at my thread about that. It's a mystery. I will get pics and vids over thanksgiving. I go to boarding school, and I leave tomoro Thanks. I like the color scheme and the look of that sub. If I was great I'd be able to get the paint to look seamless, but I just didn't wanna take the time to paint it like that. Plus I've never kept a box for more than two months lol. Here are a few old (from Christmas 2007) pics of what's in there... not very clean, but the car will be replaced in two years 5 layers of dynamat/fatmat
  6. Lol sarcastic much. Yeah thanks for the list of songs. That's pretty cool. And that is the type of music I listen to. Just looking for more songs ya kno. Thanks.
  7. http://www.psp-inc.com/psp-inc.com/public_..._calculator.cgi Help? or not?
  8. agreed. Bass boost, knobs, etc should be turned down. Pretend like they are not there.... Then turn your radio up and set your gain... that is the only knob (as far as volume is concerned) you should be using. Gain is NOT volume... if you push an amp to far, it will clip and (many times) blow your sub. The frequency is the low pass filter. It "filters" out the high frequencies. keep it around 64-65. that's just fine. Just keep the boosts down and try to keep your eq as flat a possible. Good luck!
  9. if you can somehow squeeze 14 inches... http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/products/pr...S&p_status= for the subs. I've heard good things about this amp as well... and the other new Fosgate amps are pretty small as well...
  10. Hey guys... so after building many boxes and things, I've finally found the right one and it's position. I love it that songs that hit from 30-35 htz are the loudest, but i just don't have that many of them. Can anyone point me in the direction of some good songs that hit around 30-35 htz or that area.... Such as Hood Nigga by Gorilla Zoe and White Girl by Jeezy.... Thanks guys. Oh and the more songs the better!
  11. RF T20001bd, T30001bd, or Sundown Audio SAZ-3000D, or any other more 'reputable' 2-3k watt amp... Just my recommendation... and running that much power you will want to run ALL 1/0 gauge wire, do the "Big 3," and maybe a new alt... Either get someone good to build you a box or build one yourself. The box is VERY important. Get a second batt if you will be running your system with the car off most of the time, but if your car is usually running, just get yourself a new alternator. If you can afford it, then just get both! Have fun bro!
  12. Personally, if you listen to rap mostly I would make a 3.5-4.0 cu ft box tuned to 32 htz, and power a Fi Q off of 1000 - 1200 watts. You won't need the BP option for that. I'm listening to a Q in 4.5 cu ft tuned to 32 htz off of around 1000 watts right now and it is perfect for rap... You will not be disappointed with either one. The BL is made to be a little bit louder and handle more power, where the Q is designed more specifically for musical purposes...
  13. A bijillion watts. Depends on enclosure, settings, and stuff. I give mine around 1500 and it took it quite nicely. Until it mysteriously stopped working O_o

Is the aluminum compression plug that helps channel air around the coil and the top plate the thing that cuts the air off from the pole vent?
  15. Aight this will only be to break in his sub a lil for a week. Thanks dude!
  16. Alright I'll wait. Thanks.

I kno the BL and BTL don't, but I thought the Q and SSD did... https://ssl.perfora.net/www.ficaraudio.com/...view.shopscript
  18. Lol duh. Sorry bout that. It's a 15" Fi Q w/ BP power.
  19. yupp... it's in the shipping box ready to go right now.
  20. I was wondering if I can run my friend's Fi Q in my box that is 4.5 cu ft tuned 32? It has BP option, and I would be running about 1000 watts to it. Would the sub be fine as long as I am responsible?
  21. Nothing special... I'm not all that great at building boxes... but here is what me and and my friend threw together. about 10 different braces lol. I had a bunch of extra internal space.
  22. erm 1500 watts... You need a bigger fuse broha. like 150 amps or so...
