ok well i have a 18 q im going to put in my trunk .theres plenty of room . my box will be about 8 cubes tuned to 28. the problem is i can only mount the sub on top because the trunk height is only 19 inches...is itgoing to sound right with the speaker up close to the trunk lid...besides major outside rattling would there be any other problems?.thanks

I think that would is a good choice although the dual 2 coils will only work at 4 or 1ohm isn't that amp only 2ohm stable if so then maybe try to get the coils switched to dual 1 instead so what is the number i cant find it anywhere??????!!!man i should of researched more .....

i have a fosgate t8002 amp right now but i plan on upgrading somewhere down the line...i want to run a one sub setup....i really want a 18 but am i underpowering it for now up until i upgrade my wattage?....will a 15 sound better and louder since im not pumpin that much power into it?....also...what do i buy a dual 1 sub or dual 2 sub...also what series is best for me....the q or bl or ssd.....it is going in a 85 cutlass...i listen mostly to rap...thanks
