lakers vs celtics
yep just like i figured each team will win their home games, so if LA wins theirs goes up 3-2 then game 6 should be the most entertaining either LA will get dominated then come back for game 7 or LA will sqeak out and win it all. but i have been wrong before so.

RL-s... not popular???
what do you want to know? the ava is a crazy low end sub, more designed for home audio but will work in car. only needs around 1200 to reach max, thermally it can take a little more but mechnically 1200 is around its limit. put it in a sealed box and you'll have a low end beast which almost nothing will mess with atleast not just a single woofer. output wise it'll be loud but i woudldn't expect 150 from it probally a mid 140 would be a good guess score wise. sq well everyone views will be different but it is xbl^2 so that should say a lot, although i have heared that it falls off above the 60hz range but your mid bass should be taking over by then.

RL-s... not popular???
the rl-s is a beast, i remember chad on the ecoustics forum had 2 15's with a kx2500.1 amp walled in a civic sealed and was doing like mid 140's at on music iirc. but ya the main resaon no one has them is cause of the coil ohms and box size. last i knew their was an AA avalanche 18 on ebay might wanna look at it although it only needs around 1200wrms to get moving.

12" Sub geared more for output
are you still looking for a sub? if so i have an AA atlas 15, xbl^2 motor, svc4 ohm but has another coil to adjust the qts. will work perfect sealed or ported. 350w would be enough for it although in a good box it could take around 500. let me know if your interrested.

Dual 1's aren't dual 1's
well either way nothing you can do about it. it won't affect anything so i wouldn't worry about it.

Dual 1's aren't dual 1's
no its fine, after imp rise it'll be close to 1ohm anyway.

PERFECT WATER
"In 2003, 2006, and 2007 Montpelier won the Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting competition for its municipal water supply. Montpelier triumphed over cities as diverse as Sparwood, British Columbia and Rice Lake, Wisconsin.[4][1]" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Montpelier%2C_Ohio my town has the best water in the world. haha.

lakers vs celtics
i say lakers in 7. the celts are good but they had problems facing the cavs and lets face it all they have is lebron. the lakers have kobe plus some others that are good i don't think the celts will be able to stop them. it'll probally go back and fourth with the home team winning then in gm 7 the lakers will pull away. but i also thought detroit would win in 6 vs the celts and i was wrong so.

Sealed setup question
also another thng to look at i the subs qts value, don't get one thats super low or else your sealed box will have to be huge or it'll be peaky. If i were you i'd look into some SI mags. i hear that they excell sealed and will get plenty low enough.

New 2008 Btl's Breaking In, Louder Then Ever!
nice steve, finally soemone whos heard both and can give a fair judgement. on the screws have you thought about using t-nuts? i use them in all my boxes, you don't have to worry about the wood coming fatigue after repeated un-screwing plus they allow you to use different types of screws say hex head, for a more security perspective.

How does a sub play 10 hz when..
It doesn't say that in the specs you just posted. I am not sure what Sundown is using on the SSF. um ok then what does "24dB Octave Crossover Slope" mean? it says 2 lines above where i said it? and i got the specs right off this site? That is for the crossover, not the SSF. hmm i allwasy thought they were the same for both? i know on my 12.1 its that way.

can I replace stock sub with a new sub on stock amp
it would probally work but imho it would be a waste of time and money.

How does a sub play 10 hz when..
yep what M5 said. just adding when a sub goes below tuned hz its called unloading, its essentially the same as ruuning free air with all the power a sub can take thermally which useally allows the sub to have crazy excursion. also just because for ssf is set at 30hz doesn't mean your sub can't play lower then that, all the ssf does is have a negative DB slope beyond a certain point so depednign on the amp it could have a 12db slope or 36db slope just depend on the amp.

Look at this box design...Opinions Please!
from the pics it looks like a 4th order BP? if so get us some specs then we can help.

2 10's vs 1 12
because to fit a 15 it would have to fire up at the trunk lid and i hear that is the worst position for spl. i think im gonna go 2 12's anyway try them sealed at first then just get a design from pete if i ever want more output.
