  3. Looking like the weather gonna kick us in the nuts hard.. I was planning on buying wood today and putting some deadener in the truck...but that's looking like it isn't going to happen since it is 27 degrees and supposed to sleet a damn inch...
  4. ramos laid the pimp down lmfao mornin buddy
  5. Nope...sorry
  6. Picking up resonances in your room and the coil is moving..it'l cause the impedance to shift, even if you talk while metering it .
  7. Baskets are aluminum..motors are steel..
  8. doing good..... going to nursing school, staying busy. can't wait till slammin and Jammin again.... you gonna be there? i will be representin Fi, Ascendant, Power Master, Second Skin, and Incrminator Audio BIG TIME this year! truck should look nuts! gonna get a BIG tax return and try and get it painted! EDIT::::::::::::::::::::::: also i should get my new license plate in soon! ASASN8 Yep i'll be there with the green truck if you have aim PM me your name Thanks! -Nick
  9. Sorry man can't do it, you should be able to sell them on like caraudio.com or something Thanks! -Nick
  10. Can't do any quotes without a zip code . Thanks! -Nick
  11. Take an inductance of 0.8 and put 800 grams of mass on it with a motor with 6tm of bl and tell me it's still gonna have good transient response and higher frequency extension as one with ~3mH and ~230 grams of moving mass......mass does matter You've just got to weigh out the point where bl/mass/vas and factor in the DAF, the lighter you build something the more prone it is going to be to breaking...cross the line and you've got failures, stay on the edge of the line and you have the best of both worlds, good transient response, solid response curves..and things don't break.
  12. Yes that's the right one. Thanks! -Nick
  13. Haven't seen the thread yet, sorry... Have you considered a pair of SSD 10's with the copper coil option sealed?
  14. yay projector is asproded in class YES!
  15. Need a 18" basket too? Thanks! -Nick
  16. I suggest looking into the BL's as well.. Thanks! -Nick
  17. Have been on the subs for a while now we just don't announce everything that we do a little different every time we do a design change during a running order... Thanks! -Nick
  18. Still think you are having some sort of wiring issue or something of that nature...that's not normal.. Why not try un-strapping the amps and wire them normally with the coils in parallel on each sub? If it still does it then we need to diagnose something else... Thanks! -Nick
  19. Contrary to popular belief "spl" subs that you speak of have more motor force then "sq" subs and really should have a better transient response ('tight bass') when given the right scenario...
  20. That's hick's ole lady
  21. your pic got pwnd. awww. maaaan.
  22. Won't build a 10...cone geometry issues... Sorry man. Thanks! -Nick
  23. Don't seal the btl, don't seal the bl...don't care what you may think, the output is going to be horrid...just don't do it. In regards to you not paying attention to manufactures' recommendations i suggest that you treat us differently...our rec's will preform the best in a daily driving scenario. If your dead set on having a sealed box, look into the Q series. Thanks! -Nick
  24. Amp is on its last leg / dieing... Coils don't like DC voltage
  25. Meade doesn't have any clipping problems, clipping happens from turning the volume knob too far to the right and square waving your input signal.. Amps are dumb (generally speaking) they just amplify what they are given... Thanks! -Nick
