Didn't get a hixmax coil...probably just hearing things he hasnt heard before, none of the BTL coils will fit a MT...they all sit on the top plate. Having new things can make you hear things you haven't heard before...but eh, whatever . He's happy.

You can get one but i don't see the point...it wont be a 'mag' anylonger...it'l be a sub with a blank dust cover... Honestly it'd probably hurt the re-sale value..

I dont know about all of that...that amp is pretty potent...and we rate the SSD's at 750 watts rms for a reason...

Generally speaking you want to keep the woofers and ports firing on the same plane for musical purposes... In suv's in my opinion it sounds better...
