  1. The Ascendant line will/does have an 8... As of right now we're not going to do one in the very near future...but off in the distance just about anything is a possibility . Thanks -Nick

Totally different subs... About as similar as a pear and a watermelon.. Thanks -Nick
  3. Give Scott a call...he doesn't have internet access right now Thanks -Nick
  4. Keep us updated! We love to hear feedback! Thanks -Nick
  5. So long as he's careful he should be fine with that amount of power... However you may want to entertain the flatwire coil option, that would definitely keep him in the clear. Are you sure there is enough room to get a box as big as the SSD18 requires in and out of a trunk? Thanks -Nick

2 cubes sealed for the 15 works in Tom's truck, however it may not work in your application... We generally don't recommend running the 15's and 18's sealed. Thanks -Nick

I'd probably do the BL's personally. Thanks -Nick
  8. The ZX1000.1 does about 1200 watts...that's all you should need honestly, you'll have to be careful with the 1500...that's a stout amp if you choose it. The subsonic filter is pretty much useless unless you are throwing down in a higher tuned ported enclosure, you really don't need one for a sealed enclosure. Also there isn't much music these days that goes down "that low" to need one... There are no differences in the dual 1 and dual 2 "SQ" Hope that helps Thanks! -Nick
  9. Shouldn't need it really, only thing BBP is going to do is predict output curves that really don't relate to a car scenario... Stick within the guidelines that we've set in the technical section and you should be good to go for enclosures. Thanks -Nick
  10. You should get shims in the kit, just a piece of plastic that goes between the coil former and the pole piece to center the coil in the gap. If they aren't in there you can always use a minilla folder, just make sure when you use it that you use the same number of layers and they don't overlap, otherwise you will get the coil rocked off to one side of the gap. Hope that helps! Thanks! -Nick
  11. Sounds good man, let me know if you need anything else. Thanks! -Nick

Exactly, if you plan on running 1 amp per subwoofer you need to choose the dual 2ohm option and wire the coils in parallel for a final 1ohm nominal load per amp. Let us know if you need anymore help! Thanks! -Nick

Quite a few people run the 12's, however they aren't as popular as the 15's and 18's.... Thanks -Nick
  14. Sounds like you have plenty of volume for a 12, however my main concern with this scenario is how much mounting depth you have to work with? Thanks -Nick
  15. Yeah, sealed will probably be the way to go for you. You may beable to get creative later and shoehorn a ported enclosure in there. But if your going for ease of use and practicality at this point you may just want to go sealed. Thanks -Nick
  16. ..As well as how much room you are willing to give up.... Thanks -Nick
  17. Aero's are different, for a 15 you honestly should not need more then 3 3" aero's, possibly 2 4" aero's or a single 6" aero would be adequate... Thanks -Nick
  18. No need for 2 4" aero's, 1 should be fine, what are you wanting to tune it to? Thanks! -Nick
  19. That's not a conventional ported box either...that's more of a messed up transmission line type deal... Should be ok, although i know nothing of their enclosures. Thanks -Nick

Amps should be fine... Thanks -Nick

No kidding? Hah, learn something every day....course there was that period of time where i disappeared from all things audio, swore i would have remembered that one though... Eh, cool none the less.

No clue about the T1's...if its a 3" coil we could probably do something...but honestly it's going to be about the same money either way because you would have to ship them to us to set up properly. Thanks, -Nick

Hah...well, learned something new today. Other then that it was strictly dual .7ohm flatwire aluminum and 1.4ohm flatwire... Thanks -Nick
  24. Way too big, if your doing spl sure, but for musical/daily listening you needa keep in the ballpark figure of 12-16sq inches of port per cubic foot of volume... Thanks! -Nick
  25. Not that big of a difference, i doubt very seriously if you'd notice an audible difference between the two.. If anything the larger inclosure may be a smidge less accurate...but you'd probably only notice it if you had many many listening hours in with the subs... Thanks! -Nick
