  1. Same stuff... Or get a tube of Windoweld from advance auto etc. Either or, just use a few thin layers and put some in the crack itself and let it dry.
  2. If it is the surround use 'the incredible goop' or a rubberized window adhesive in very thin layers. DO NOT glop it on.

Not a tax unless you are in state.
  4. aweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  5. High Qts simply turns the woofer into a Mid Q woofer instead of a lower Q woofer. It will not have the same detail and warmth with the standard motor in a sealed application vs the higher Qts, but it will work fine. It has to deal with gapping tolerances loosening things up a great deal to scrub off motor strength that is not needed.
  6. Signal issue man.. Hate to tell you to do it but pickup a decent headunit and it will solve the problems.
  7. Either a Q or a BL would be fine...really depends on your goals.
  8. BL is designed for under 2kw...after that..then the BTL takes over
  9. Huge thanks to JBLCAMRY here on the board for helping us out with sketchup and making the drawings for us. If they don't fit your vehicle..sorry. These are simply general boxes for the average install for a musical daily driving scenario. If you are looking to chase numbers you are on your own. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/forum/68-fi-technical/ Check it out! More to come later

  15. At 3.5 cubic feet (you will have something smaller so say 3.25 cubic feet to get to 33Hz with 2 4" aeros the ports will need to be 16.25" long
  16. Tune it to 32-33Hz... You can download winisd from www.linearteam.org to figure out the length of the ports.. Keep in mind that you have to subtract your port and driver displacement in the box. So you'll have to subtract the volume of the cylinder from your volume to calculate the proper tuning.
  17. Should be fine with 2 4" aero's.

Use a common chamber with 1 slot port You need dual 1ohm coils to wire a pair of subs to 1ohm load. Wire them in series/parallel.
  19. Generally a pair of 12's can overpower coaxils.. Simply turn them down You don't have to run them wide open.
  20. Should be fine..you don't have to have the additional spider if you do not want it. Just make sure you put your subsonic filter 2-3hz below the port tuning frequency of the enclosure.
  21. We can do it..I think it's 45 bucks to do...then whatever the recone pricing is on the website.
  22. subsonic filter is your friend
  23. One or the other...you can recone to D2's if you need to.
  24. You've got the wrong coils for those amps...you can't 1ohm out of a single sub with dual 1ohm coils. You can only get .5 (do not wire to .5ohm) and 2ohms.
