  1. Haven't heard anything from you.. The atlas has a very special coil for it that nobody else has...I think we have 2 or 3 left at most.
  2. So if it has a 1" hole in the middle you need to leave 1/2" behind the sub for clearance.
  3. Nope not happening for a while. The 22 has been put on a back burner for other projects...gotta do a cone body for it and it simply is not worth it right now as other things are far more important.
  4. That thing has been reconed...we don't use that basket. Regardless oddly enough it is Paul's hand writing. It is a bl 18 d1 flat wind full cooling motor.
  5. It's honestly not made for SPL purposes... Not saying that we don't constantly have things in testing phases..we're just not the type to brag about every thing we think of every other day and put it on the internet...for it to never come out. The only reason we did it with the neo motor was because it was that radical..we wanted to get some general thoughts on people before we pulled the trigger on that one because it is really really really different. I'd rather show up to the party ready to dance with my bowtie on personally
  6. Yes we have a D1 coil that will fit in there...not a problem. Just please make sure that you package it properly when you send it in to us.

Sweet! Post some vids up when you upload them.
  8. I'll go ahead and say we will not make a 10. The cone geometry is horrible.
  9. They are all stickers lol...
  10. No offense man but a Q and a D-CON are polar opposite woofers lol
  11. Glad ya like it man Let us know in the long run!
  12. You can send it in to us..but you want to make sure something is broken before..otherwise you just lose a bunch of money in shipping for nothing.
  13. Then you used too much volume knob... You can hear when a speaker is stressing it sounds like distortion..
  14. Keep in mind the larger the enclosure the less mechanical power handling you have..
  15. ..we don't put a flatwound coil in a Q. The D2 is a round wire, and the D1 is a flattened round wire...but it is not truly flat... The lower you tune something the higher it is going to roll off on the top end.
  16. You do understand that we rate it at 2000 watts rms right?
  17. Around 1000 watts.
  18. Then you clipped them to death and burned them up...too much loose nut behind the knobs Speakers don't spontaneously combust...and those have the exact same amount of tinsel leads as the BTL's do. If you do something dumb then the speaker will burn up..it just does what you tell it to do.
  19. Those aren't our motors... Not sure what to tell you. We could have reconed them years ago...
  20. Those amps do not have an adjustable subsonic filter.. You probably played them below tuning over time and burned the tinsel leads up because of fatigue. If you don't have a subsonic filter set 2-3Hz below tuning then no matter what sub you have or buy you are going to have nothing but problems. If it does actually have a long enough coil to move. You can get a recone and do it yourself, or you can select 'yes' to send in sub on the recone page and send the woofer in and we'll do it for you. Regardless, if you do not get that adjustable subsonic filter then you are going to be right back here again, it's only a matter of time. Just a fyi, the Q has the same amount of tinsels as the BTL. This only happens when things are set up improperly..it's like buying a new car and driving it on the interstate with the cruise control on and pointing it straight into a bridge...if you tell the car to go there, it will do it. A speaker is no different.
  21. We generally do not send those dustcaps out...all of the recones are the "Boob" style caps instead of the full dish dustcap. If you order a recone I'll make note of it on the order that you want a dished style dustcap to match the other one. Just please let me know in advance if you do order one.
  22. Ok well the manufacturer claims it is a 1 ohm stable amp. Are you saying that it cant handle 1 ohm because the amp is defective? Specs SPECIFICATIONS RMS Power at 13.8V 1400W into 2 ohms with less than 1% THD+N 2200W into 1 ohm with less than 1% THD+N S/N Ratio: -92db A-Wtd Frequency Response: <10 to 225Hz Lowpass Filter: Variable 24db, 70 to 200Hz Idle Current: 1A Dimensions (LxWxH): 15” x 9.25” x 2.25” FEATURES Ultra- Efficient Class D Audio Output Stage
  23. Of course you aren't going to have any problems...you are running at 2ohms, not 1ohm. If you have the problem when something is wired to 1ohm...then you need to duplicate that situation again with another speaker. The amp probably cannot handle 1ohm...and freaks out and shuts off.
